Chapter 1 Forced marriage

*7:30 am in the morning*

*Yawn* I woke up because of the birds chirping, the sounds is so relaxing to my ears, I set my alarm in the time of 7:30 am last night because tomorrow is my favorite day which is saturday!!

And today is the day because when you say saturday meaning no classes and no activities,since i already done all of my outputs and activities it's time to relax and chill and do whatever i want hehe.

So since it's saturday,i decided to go to arcade to play there and of course i will drag my cousin whether she like it or not.

Oh i forgot to introduce myself.

My name is Penelope Talliah Monrillia and I'm a 20 years old college student, my course is bachelor of science in accountancy.

I'm taking a bath when my mother called me."Lliah Get downstairs we have something to discuss."She said and i said yes and wait for me there.

I'm done taking a bath,also im done changing my clothes.

My family is known for being one of the wealthiest family in our country.But i dont care about that because all they want is to maintain our wealth in any different way.

After changing my clothes,i decided to go downstairs and go to the dining table.

I saw them gathering there eating but the weird thing is the atmosphere was so intense.

I don't know because they all look so serious right now.

I sit beside my cousin jessa and ask her what's going on? She just shake her head.

"Lliah your going to get married next month" that makes me stop for a moment because i don't know if i heard it right or not so i ask mother again.

"Pardon me mother but can you please say it again" I said.

"I said you are going to marry mr.carson's son because we already discuss it and agree of your marriage with his son" wait! what did she just said? But they don't even ask my permission or opinion about this and decide on their own!

"Mother i oppose of this marriage because how could you have a deal with someone using your own daughter why? Why mother!?" I said and shout because of the pain im feeling right now and i know I'm being ungrateful but I'm her daughter for pete's sake!

"Can you stop shouting and being dramatic it just a marriage okay? And you're asking why i do that? it's only one answer i don't have other choice because if i don't do this our company will went bankrupt and we will going to live in the streets with some beggars hell no!It's so disgusting!" she said and i slam the table and walk away.

"Lliah we're not done talking yet come back here! You ungrateful child!" she said but i continue walking towards the door and get into my car, this is so unbelievable! If she was so afraid in living in the streets then married that carson son instead of me!
