Masamune vs the mysterious delivery (1)
Lost in the timeless riddle of whether I made my debut head or legs first, life threw me a curveball in the form of an intriguing delivery. The courier guy, sensing my distraction, thrust a paper and pen my way, nervously requesting my signature.
Delivery man
“Uh mister? You've been staring at this parcel for more than 5 minutes. Would you mind signing this paper and accept this courier?”
However, my attention remained firmly fixed on the colossal 10-foot box parked right outside my door, causing my eyes to widen like a confused fish. Unfazed by the paperwork, I already knew who orchestrated this cosmic joke.
Hanzo Masamune
"No need for paperwork – someone's playing games with me...and I know who."
Masamune, with an air of profound contemplation, threw an unexpected question at the delivery boy.
—He continued without shifting his gaze from the colossal box,
Hanzo Masamune
“Have you seen hell?”
The delivery man, clearly caught off guard, stammered in response.
Delivery man
“Uh... Nope.”
Masamune, heaving a dramatic sigh, pressed on.
He said, then seamlessly transitioned into a more pressing matter.
Hanzo Masamune
“Is it possible for me to return this parcel back?”
The delivery man, surprisingly blunt, shut down the return hopes with a swift "Nope."
Masamune, taking it in stride, responded with a calm "I see."
Just as the delivery man attempted to redirect the conversation toward paperwork, Masamune added a theatrical twist to the encounter.
And thus, Masamune tried to close the door right on the delivery boy's face, leaving a comedic punctuation mark on their unconventional conversation.
Delivery man, quick on his feet, saved himself by cleverly wedging his foot between the door frame.
Delivery man
“Ugh— open it!”
Hanzo Masamune
“NO! The parcel might contain yet another life-threatening weird object sent by my parents! I can't accept it! Please take it away, I beg you!”
As Masamune strained to shut the door forcefully, the delivery man, now desperate, switched tactics.
Delivery man
“I beg you, please take it with you!”
He cried loudly, attempting to tug at Masamune's heartstrings.
Delivery man
“Ever since we received this package, our staff members have been experiencing eerie and unexplainable experiences!”
Delivery man
“Last night, Mr. Gouto lost his breath the moment he touched this parcel! He had already been having nightmares for the past several days!”
Delivery man
“If you don't accept this damned thing, I swear we would —”

And the next moment, inside the house, there stood Masamune, facing the giant cartoon with a signed paper and pen in hand.
The delivery boy had made a swift exit, not without lending a hand to help Masamune wrestle the colossal thing into his home.
Masamune, possessing a kind heart that outweighed his caution, accepted the parcel despite its ominous reputation.
'Undaunted' in the face of potential danger, he now faced the challenge of dealing with a cartoon that rivaled the size of a family refrigerator.
