The Hunt
Gracefully wearing red high heels, a gentle and kind face, gentle and polite gestures, that woman is my mother. She was a gentle woman—at least to others—not me.
My mother loves her lighter, when she's upset about something.
Born and raised not as a normal person. Literally. My life has never been normal. Even if just for a second. Every day that passes is tiring…
And painful.
At midnight, the large window in my living room was attacked by wind and heavy raindrops crashed against it. Under the pitch black darkness, the sky suddenly became mysterious as lightning continuously drew bright white curves on the dark background.
The harsh sound of a woman's moans was mixed with my cries. She satisfied her desires, but I did not. My lower body hurts. It's really painful.
I'm only 13.
...----------------...
My knuckles stiffened as I held the dagger in my hand. My hand shot up into the air to gain momentum, crashing straight into the vein in the neck of a strange man I didn't know—or maybe strange—but at least not in my memory.
His eyes widened, blood spurted from his neck, staining my face and clothes. Gradually, his body stiffened from death, but blood still flowed. A feeling of guilt filled me. I looked up, waiting for a compliment, but instead I received a cold look from the person called father.
As I get older, I've gotten used to that.
Entering the church, the large door opens in front of you, creating a warm stream of light from the sunlight shining through the colorful glass doors. Fresh and peaceful air fills the space, along with the light scent of candles and chrysanthemums. Bright sunlight penetrates through ancient architectural columns, beautifying the sacred and solemn space. The soft sound of footsteps on the smooth brick walkway, accompanied by peaceful sounds, made me feel the dignity and peace in this sacred space.
Forgive me Father, for i have sinned.
My whole life has passed with blood—at least not mine. With a bloody hand, I picked up the phone and displayed a person's name, which made me want to break the phone immediately.
Pick up the phone, “Yes, all done,” glanced up at the starry sky. “Mr. Christ.”
I work for my father, but that doesn't mean I don't go against him. I’ve enough money and manpower to create a small organization, that's the first step. I studied Information Technology related things at university. But that's not enough.
To find a good IT person isn’t difficult for me. Dante, my best friend, is a hacker. Having him by my side makes me feel a little more relaxed.
He needs money, I give him money. He needs love, I give him the love he wants. As long as he points his index finger at any girl he wants, I can help him flirt with that girl.
From there, I can turn a small organization into a security company.
I have a habit. Not a bad habit, but it could kill me.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
The blood vessels are frozen, the clock is still running, the hands are still moving. Work cannot be stopped, although it is urgent, i still have to be careful. Even a small mistake could land me in jail. But sending me to prison, did not cause CAP to collapse. That just makes all my plans come to naught.
I'm just a normal person like everyone else, with dreams and waiting for magical moments to happen.
And it happened.
The most magical moment of my life was when a pair of red Mary Janes walked in the rain and approached me.
