Chapter - III Numbness

"You are going to be dead" told a voice. Litwin sighed. "Use the door to come in next time Adrian" Litwin told and turned on the other side.

"Bruh! You are getting married? Why am I the last one to know?? Asked Adrian offended. "I ain't getting married until the check of vinculum and after that I would have told you" Litwin reasoned.

Adrian scoffed."Move a little bit. I want to sit" told Adrian.Litwin pointed at his grey leather sofa. Adrian muttered "You have rotten character. You should stay single otherwise the girl will suffer" .

" At least I have a girl unlike someone" Litwin snarled. Adrian's mouth hung open. "I m really offended. This guy. Sheesh. You should show this side to the girls and they will never come back to you. Rubbing salt on the other's wound" Adrian spoke.

Litwin smiled and signaled through his hands to get lost. Adrian kicked on Litwin's butt and teleported.

Adrian is his best friend other than his two brothers. Adrian and Litwin cared about each other very much. Litwin considered Adrian as his brother. A yawn escaped his mouth. He remembered he didn't give an answer to his father.

'Teleport me to the kitchen' Litwin thought and got teleported. His father was going through the sweets section in the kitchen.

"Why am I not surprised Father?" Litwin asked. "Stop sneaking up like this son." Commented the king. "Where did the choco truffle go. Where are youuuuuu? " the king muttered to himself, searching for the cake which was finished by Daw' who was on a raid few minutes ago.

"Father , I made up my mind. I m ready to get married to Alicia." spoke Litwin in a calm voice. "Huh? Son. This is no child's play. Take some more time and let me know" The king replied.

"Father, if we check the vinculum we would know whether Alicia is my future wife or not and moreover I believe in your judgement." Litwin spoke as he held his father's hand. The king sighed and nodded.

Next morning, everyone in the castle were rushing and making preparations for the arrival of Alicia, who could be the future wife of Litwin and the Queen of Hesy.

"Faster! Faster! Lady Alicia will arrive soon" shouted the guard. Litwin was dressed in white shirt with a emerald green blazer which had buttons made of platinum, wore a watch which worthed $4,589,000 and black polished shoes which could reflet faces perfectly. His hair was gelled neatly.

He wore a silver mask which had diamonds engraved in it. It was a tradition to wear mask during vinculum. Everyone was there in the court hall. Some Hesians were there to witness the vinculum, some were there to see Litwin and some to get a glance of the mysterious beauty Alicia.

The doors opened. The King walked in, with his mother on his right and the Queen on his left, followed by Asheil and Zahri and behind them Daw' and Isaa and behind them Litwin who followed by the ministers.

They sat in their respective places. The King spoke "A very good morning to my dear peoples of Hesy. Thank you for coming here to witness the vinculum between My youngest son and Prince Litwin and Mysterious beauty Alicia". The people all cheered.

Suddenly a guard came and whispered something to the king. The king shook his head. "Without further delay let's welcome Alicia!!" the king said. The door opened and many girls walked in, followed by three guards. Behind the guards was Alicia.

Her face was covered expect her mouth. She was dressed in golden shining dress. She wore gold painted heels. Golden pearls we're hanging on the edge of the cloth with covered her face. Everyone was awestruck.

She smiled and spoke

"Good morning to everyone and my dear future fiance"

Who is knocking the door at this time? Twil thought.

"Just a sec grandpa"

She walked towards the door and saw the security system camera. She opened the door in rush.

"Grandpa!!!Grandma!!" Twil exclaimed as she hugged them. Her Grandpa hung the call and smiled. "My dear cupcake. How are you? How was your first day?" Asked her grandpa.

"Get in. I m good and My first day was awesome. I had fun" she replied. Her grandma spoke" Aww. Our baby is growing up fast Honey. She is in her last year in highschool".

Twil smiled and sat on the couch along with her grandparents. They talked for a while. It was 12:02. She was tired. Since she had school the next day, she excused herself and went to her room after making sure her grandparents were showed to the guest room.

'Did I have too much fun today? I feel like my energy is drained completely.' she thought and went to sleep.

Next morning, she woke up to the smell of waffles and pancakes. She rushed towards the bathroom and did her routine and wore a shirt and hoodie and blue jeans and went down.

She saw her whole family down. She saw her parents who rarely come home and her grandparents who came yesterday and her Aunt and Uncle with their two kids. She smiled and greeted them. She hugged her parents and then got crushed by her Aunt. She then high-fived her Uncle and grandparents.

The table was full, the plates were full and Twil's heart was too.They laughed ,talked and ate the breakfast .Then she washed the plates and waved them goodbye and went to school.

At the school, she walked through the corridor and reached her locker. She took her books and went to class. May and Kate were laughing for some joke and Riley was closing her ears while Misha was grinning like a creep.

"Watcha talkin bout?" Twil chirped in. "It was bout Pi-" RINGGGGG the bell cut off Kate's words. They all sat in their places. Mrs.Alvey took attendance and as usual it went.

After the lunch break, the classes started again. I looked at Kate's book as she was sincerely taking notes which turns out to be a sincere doodle. Way to Act Kate. Someone taped my shoulders. I took a look for May and found her sitting in the fourth desk on my right.

I sighed and moved and sat in such a way I could cover the person behind me. "Thank you" Ashton whispered. I nodded my head. The classes were over and we were chatting about the latest K-drama we saw.

"Hospital playlist's recent episode is nice." told May. "The king- External Monarch is the best" Argued Kate. "Just because Le-" before May could complete her sentence Kate closed her ears and blabbered "Yolo bolo polo. Yolo bolo polo" and walked out of the class. "So childish" Misha told and Riley agreed. They walked out of the class.

Twil opened her locker to keep books when a note fell. Silence spread among the five. May,Riley and Kate rushed and took the paper and started to fight on who gets to read the paper first. "Give it to me you uncultured tools" argued May.

"Take your sweaty and dirty hands of the paper" told Kate. They were pulling the paper when Trrrrr. The paper tore.

The three girls awkwardly laughed and returned it to Twil. She put the paper together and tried to read.

"Woah." told the four.
