Fh4- Exhibit

HAPPY

The exhibit is filled with a lot of influential people. There are also a bunch of reporters at the entrance just like what I expected. Cameras are flashing nonstop, the same with the voices coming from reporters which represent their tv stations.

"Here comes H." Bob said as we approach at the lobby of the exhibit place.

Reporters started to crowd in front of me. Trying their best to seize the opportunity to be in the very front. I have no choice but to wave at them.

"Ms. H when will you released your new masterpiece?"

"What can you say about the newbie-Gertrude?"

"Is it true that you are a lesbian?"

I looked at Bob waiting for him to answer for me. But he just avoided my eyes. What should I expect? This is not new at all.

"Gertrude has a promising future. As for my sexual preference, I like men." I casually replied as I hold my favorite Chanel purse tighter. Out of all the questions, why will they ask me about my sexuality? Reporters will always try to make some news about something that is not even relevant.

"How about the released date of your new painting? Don't tell us you don't have anything to paint again? Isn’t this a shame for the FHCL Organization which supports you?" A petite reporter continuously bombarded me with questions. She even tried to push other reporters so she can ask it straight to my face.

"When will it be? Is it true that the FHCL wants to remove you from their artists?" she continued. She closed the gaps between us and brought the microphone closer to my face. I remained silent and ignore her question but she is really persistent.

"When? Answer, please." she asked again.

Luckily, some security personnel asked them to move away because they were occupying the entrance which made the other guest uncomfortable.

Bob strolled a bit closer to the reporters and answered. "It will be a surprise so no comment for now."

Reporters started to ask him a

lot of questions which he answered professionally. He was even praised for

being my 'supportive father' and my 'great mentor.'

I elegantly put back my hands into Bob's as we continued to walk down the hall. As we walked, I examined some

of the paintings which were painted by the artist that they mentioned earlier.

Gertrude Rodriguez.

Her paintings are quite controversial because of her faceless subject. She only has one subject and it makes the reporters go wild because her subject is undeniably well endowed. Even though her subject can be compared to some famous models her lack of talent is conspicuous.

Her strokes aren't firm and stable. The colors do not go well with it each other. The colors and the details were established without the proper knowledge of basics. I hope she can improve her skills. She might improve but it won't be as great as what real artists can.

I'm not being arrogant but she lacks—

"What kind of art is this? I won't even consider this as an art!" the old woman complained. Her dissatisfaction is clearly visible in her wrinkled face and it earned her a lot of stares from the people in the gallery. Some reporters went to her place. She faced them elegantly and continued what she was saying.

"This painting lacks emotion. What's the point of having a great subject when the artist can't make her subject spark some interest to those who glimpse at these paintings? She also lacks the most important thing—" before the old woman can finish her sentence a tall guy in a grey suit walked across the hall with his bodyguards, stealing the spotlight away from the lady.

"Good evening everyone!" the guy greeted. The people started to whispers about who's the mysterious guy. Until someone chimed in.

"Is that Mr. Leblanc?"

"You mean Lumiere Leblanc?" asked by a random guest.

The crowd started to buzz as if they saw an extraordinary person in an unexpected place. Some people even initiated in taking some pictures of him.

"Yes, I am Leblanc of Leblanc Corporation. Nice to see everyone. I hope you are enjoying my gallery. I opened this for Gertrude. Isn't it great?" he smiled while his hands are in his pockets.

"Oh, I'll surely buy some work of Gertrude." someone speaks out of nowhere.

"Really? I didn't know that Leblanc Corporation funded this. I'll buy a piece." someone added.

People began to talk interestingly about Gertrude's masterpieces. Trying to win the heart of the man named Lumiere Leblanc.

"I won't change my opinion about her works." the old woman confidently said it while fixing her azure-colored brooch. She fixed her posture and stood up like a dignified person.

"It's fine everyone has different preferences." the man named Lumiere replied smiling widely like he did not feel insulted about the woman's attitude and comments.

"Never cut me off while I'm talking young man. You are maybe a Leblanc but I'm still older. I will just leave; this is a waste of time. I should not have come in the first place." the woman continues, standing proudly and unfazed. The woman eyed me and smiled.

Do I know her? Well, I guess I don't but she must have heard of me since she sounds like an art enthusiast. Unlike, the other people present in here who are only here for their personal gain and other ulterior motives.

"Assist her." The bodyguards around Lumiere promptly followed his command and went to the old woman ready to assist her. But the woman won't bring her pride down.

"I don't need some assistance. I may be old but I can still handle myself. By the way, Gertrude lacks passion." the woman smiled and walked away.

Indeed, passion.
