This is really childish all the comments are of complaining, Damian and Dante didn’t really had any chemistry they always only talk on the phone and that was also always about Ren. I think at first the author thought about there ship so there first meeting had chemistry but in the later chapters there were none I seriously didn’t like the ship if author would still end them together it would looked force, thus ship seems more natural. Damian and Dante looks like good friends if they make it more lovey dovely the story will become cheesy, I like this decision is f author
