What Is Pain?

Episode 1

The sun was shining brightly, and the wind blew, making my hair dance and I was staring out of the window. The spring breeze blew through the meadows and buzzing of bees around the beautiful flowers could be heard clearly.

"drring dring" the bell rang, making me to wake up from my thoughts. It had been a week, since our school started for the first semester. our class teacher, Mr. Andrew entered the classroom with his large Harry Potter like glasses and started his lecture.

"As you all know, we have already started teaching so......."

"So, we have to study hard." Jack the school bully cut in.

"Well, yes and I want you to meet your new classmate."

"What! How can this happen?"

"What?" Mr. Abdrew asked, eyeing him sarcastically.

"Like sir never mentioned to us about a newcomer in our class." I replied.

"Well, I don't think I have to do that." Sir replied.

The whole class fell in deep ocean like silence and sir continued.

"Well, please come in." Sir asked looking at the door.

Then a boy of my age came in.

Tall figure, with dark black eyes and hair. White complexion with sharp features, every girl would like to die for, was present in him.

"Please, introduce yourself," sir asked.

"Good morning, my name is Kyle and I would like to be friend with you all," he said.

The boy looked cheerful and innocent like a lily but suddenly, I remembered the idiom, " Don't judge a book by its cover."

"Please, sit next to Steve." Sir pointed towards me.

"Okay sir!" He replied.

"You all are in second last year of high school, so I think I don't have to mention about your studies." Sir asked.

"No sir." All the students answered.

"OK. My good students." Sir faked a smile.

...**After the recess bell**...

It was finally recess, I felt so sleepy, God knows why I always fell asleep during the class. I put on my favorite set of blue ear pods, and doze off but after few moments, someone taptapped shoulders. I opened my eyes lazily and saw the new boy smiling at me and the way he was smiling made me to have goosebumps.

"What is it dude? Fck off!" I said it inwardly.

"WHAT IS IT?" I asked him angrily.

"Well, I am sorry but can I ask you something?"

"OK, but faster dude!" I snapped at him.

"Will you be my-"

"SORRY!.. But I am not gay." I cut his words off.

"It's not like that-"

"So, what is it?" I asked him seriously this time.

"I was going to ask whether you will or you would like to…he-he." He stopped suddenly blushed like a girl.

"WILL YOU CUT THE CRAP!" I asked angrily losing my patience and self-control.

"Will you be my friend?" He muttered quickly while covering his face.

I stared at him feeling stunned, but I thought he was quite feminine and smirked.
