Now that her engagement with him was made official and her 'great admiration and desperate love' was exposed, her mother thought that it's only natural for the young couple to spend some time together.
Mrs. Lin willingly played cupid and gave them tickets to an amusement park. Nevertheless, this act of kindness is rather troublesome. For celebrities, such as Isaac, going to a crowded place is like participating in a marathon and playing hide-and-seek at the same time.
With their wealth, they can have the whole park for themselves if they want but her mother insisted that it would feel more genuine if they go as normal couples do. With much persuasion and bribery, she convinced her daughter to this so-called 'date.'
Cassandra took in and let out a long, loud breath for the fifth time as she shifted on her seat.
She wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for her extreme stupidity.
"What are you soo unsatisfied about when 'the love of your life' just sacrificed his precious day-off to be with you?"
Of course she felt bad that he had to do that but right now she wants to rip off that smug look on his face.
She forced a smile "Oh no, you've got it all wrong. This is the happiest day of my life. I feel blessed."
"Who wouldn't be if the person you're with has this face and physique." Isaac motioned to himself.
Has he always been a narcissist? The curve on her face turned upside down. Surely not, she's certain that he was more tolerable than this.
Cassandra tried to recall what he was like in the previous loops. However, there's nothing much to remember because he always kept his distance and avoided her like the plague.
She can count on the fingers of one hand the moments they shared together and most of the time they're at each other's throats but one particular memory shed a new light on Isaac Lim.
"I told you it was dying and not to get too attached with it, stupid." He said coldly
The little girl crouched on the ground and sobbed as she took in her arms the stiff rabbit lying on the ground "Go away."
Leon turned his back at her "Suit yourself."
The school's beloved pet rabbit, Sandy, died and it broke Cassandra's heart. She grieved as if she lost the most important thing to her and she wouldn't have stopped if the teacher didn't found her crying her eyes out.
The next day, Cassandra who has recovered caught Leon put some flowers on a mound of dirt.
The little girl smiled mischievously as she planned a sneak attack and stealthily approached the boy.

"WAAAAaaaah!"
He turned around and beamed at her "Good morning, Sunny." he greeted calmly
"I guess nothing stuns you, huh." she said, her voice laced with disappointment.
He placed a hand on top of her head and playfully replied "I promise I'll be surprise next time."
She pouted "By the way, what are you doing?"
He looked down at his work and answered "Well, Sandy seemed lonely so I brought him flowers."
She glanced at the mound and understood what he meant. Even though she felt a little sad, the corners of her mouth turn up as she think of how sweet he is.
Leon has always been refreshing and his positivity is contagious unlike someone she knows who's the exact opposite.
"Hey brats, the bell rang ages ago. What are you still doing here?"
"Right on time to ruin the pleasant atmosphere." Cassandra mumbled "Just because you're one year our senior doesn't mean you can boss us aroun--"
However, when she saw the look on his face anger melted away and was replaced by confusion.
"He's right. Let's go, Sunny." Leon walked ahead and Cassandra followed behind.
Why did he looked soo sad?
She couldn't stop thinking about his forlorn expression and it continued to bug her throughout the day.
Cassandra stretched her arms in the air "The exams are over and we can finally take it easy. As a reward to ourselves for working hard why don't we go to the arcade with Leon today, Willy?"
When no response came she looked at her seatmate and followed his gaze. It was where Sandy is buried.
"William?"
"How long is he going to stand there?"
"Eh?" Cassandra squinted her eyes to see who he was talking about and she immediately recognized the figure as Isaac.
"He must be very fond of it."
"What are you talking about?"
"I saw him yesterday on my way out after club activities. He got dirt all over his shirt and I immediately thought he was up to something bad but it all made sense when I heard about the rabbit." William rested his cheek on the palm of his right hand and added "What a curious person."
"Oi. Why the hell are you spacing out again?"
He was cold and aloof but he was also kind at times however, if you don't look closely his benevolence would go unnoticed. She never really paid attention to him and that's probably why they never get along even in the previous loops because she was fixated on Leon alone.
One thing she promised herself not to do again.
She isn't hoping to be best buddies with Isaac, being in good terms is enough. She believes that this time she might develope a friendlier relationship with him since the factors before that influenced his attitude towards her is different from now.
Yes, he's still the ill-tempered raven who has a sharp tongue but now that she's no longer bound to that person she sees things in a new light.
Without thinking Cassandra blurted out the words "Let's get along from now on, Zack."
