CHAPTER 17 - THE START OF THE HUNT

"Hey dude..."

Deora felt a sudden chill down her spine.

Their voice changed.

It became more cold.

A chill ran down Deora's spine.

The air commandos must have felt the change in their voice too.

They did not argue.

The Wolf continued.

"Look... We don't really want trouble..."

"There is already an injured person in the flight..."

"We won't think twice before shooting alright??"

"Also... Trust us... We are not the only ones in this flight..."

"We have a group with us... And you don't want to mess with 'Aten'... Do you...?"

"What are they talking about!! They aren't the only ones... And who is Aten...??"

"I hope you understand..."

It was quiet for a few moments...

Then a reply came back.

"We do..."

.

.

.

Deora sat still. She still couldn't process what was happening.

"What just happened...??"

"They said they'll kill us right...??"

She was horrified.

She looked around.

The lady sitting beside her was praying frantically. She was holding a cross and was mumbling.

"Save us Father... Save us Father..."

Deora looked around again. There was a pious stillness, but panic in the air.

The terrorists had allowed the air hostesses to tend to the old man. But, it was evident, that his life was fading away.

The other passengers were giving panicked glances to both the terrorists and the old, injured man.

"No... This won't do any help... I gotta act... Atleast let's try to do something..."

Deora took a deep breathe.

"First things first. Let's find the other members of the team. I don't know how many are there. But, I can observe for any unusual incidents..."

Deora's eyes went through her fellow passengers.

Almost all of them had the same look in their eyes.

The look of...

Pain...

Fear...

Despair...

She turned back again.

Everyone looked like they had been forced to do something they despised.

"Damn it... They all look the same to me... How will I ever find their teammates!??"

Suddenly, she felt a movement behind her.

She sharply turned around.

"I swear I saw someone smiling just now..."

She scanned her surroundings again.

There was nothing odd. Someone's spectacles had fallen, and he was picking it up.

Deora stared for a few more minutes.

"Hey little girl!!"

A chill ran down her spine.

She slowly, carefully turned around.

The second terrorists was beside her.

Grinning from ear to ear.

"Who...?? Me...??"

"Yes you sweetie... I don't see anyone else beside you here..."

Deora glanced beside her.

The lady with the cross had shifted in the darkness.

Everyone else was looking at them.

The second terrorist saw this and said.

"Why is everyone looking here?? Don't you all have anywhere else to look?? Or should I fire a few bullets through your dumb heads for you to understand!!??"

Everyone turned around.

"This is all too much fun!!"

The guys said clicking his tongue.

"By the way... They call me Bear!! Nice to meet you!!"

Deora didn't reply.

"You are a cold one huh..."

She still didn't say anything.

Bear was furious. He held Deora's chins and forced her to look at him.

"Oww!"

"That's better sweetheart... You should answer when someone talks to you..."

Deora was struggling to free herself from his hard grip.

"You are pretty!!! Wanna make me happy!???"

Deora was furious. She felt numb.

She couldn't do anything.

The guy was approaching her for a kiss.

Deora struggled to free herself.

And suddenly...

The air commandos' whistle sounded from the distant sky.

"Oh dear... It seems that they are back... So bad... I'll come back to you later!!"

They guy clicked his tongue again and pressed his thumb on her lips.

Then he went away.

.

.

.

Deora felt nauseous.

"F*cking piece of shit..."

She sweared.
