To Forgive
Prologue.
I looked at the blood on my shirt pants and face in the shattered glass on the floor...it was cold. My mind went wild. I heard sirens in the distance. I can't live with myself.I can live with bars separating me from the human world. I couldn't live without forgiveness..but forgiveness was something I couldn't get....I slowly raised the gun up to my. head ...and fired.
It was cold and dark until I opened my eyes to see a complete white room. Or space that looked as if it went on forever.
I looked down to see my clothes were clean. I couldn't feel my body. I couldn't hear or see anything..just a white empty space and the quietness which surrounded me.
I wondered, is this death?. Am I alive?.
Or is this all a dream and when I awake I'll get to see my parents and little brother waiting at the dinner table to eat dinner. Or maybe this is some sort of nightmare that I'll never awaken from.
Or maybe..just maybe.... This will be the end of my suffering.
But for now. All I wanted was forgiveness.
Even if it came from a god.
