Chapter Four

Pin POV

**Friday is finally here and my family and I will be going to Chiang Rai to celebrate my fiance and my graduation with his family. My parents said that there will be a lot of people there and it will be fun. I'm kind of excited to meet my fiance because I want to know what kind of person he is. I'm also excited to meet new friends. We drive for a few hours and finally reach our destination. The place was so beautiful and amazing.  I really love the environment here because it is so fresh and I love nature. Just seeing this, I was so happy and felt at ease. We get out of the car and see two people walking toward us. Then, I saw my mom and the lady started to hug each other. My dad and the man who seemed to be the lady husband started to greet and hug as well. They seem really close so I assumed they must be close friends and probably my future in-laws. 

Mom: hello Som, it's been a few years that we haven't seen each other. I miss you so much!

Som: I miss you too Waew. I'm so busy and didn't get a chance to visit you.

Mom**:** same here as well. I just got a time off so I can celebrate Pin graduation.

Som: I'm happy that we are able to meet again. Even if I talk to you on the phone often, I still miss you. Seeing you makes me really happy.

Mom: yeah, you still look as young as ever. (Smile)

Som: thanks and you too (smile)

My mom turned over and greeted the man.

Mom: hi Chai, how are you doing these days?

Chai: very well, how about you?

Mom: good

Dad and aunt Som also greet each other. Then, aunt Som turned around and hug me.

Som: hello honey, it's been a long time since auntie saw you. You have grown up to be a really beautiful lady.

Me: hi auntie, hi uncle.

Chai: hi honey, welcome to uncle's house. I hope you will have fun staying here (smile)

Me: thank you uncle for having me here. Your house is really beautiful and I really like it. (Smile)

Som: I'm really happy to hear that you love this place. When Tee comes back, I'll let him tour you around.

Me: Thank you

Mom: where did Tee go?

Chai: He went to get some vegetables in the garden. He will be back soon.

Mom: oh, okay

Chai: Let's get into the house. Chiwee and Kong will arrive here tonight with their daughter so now it's just us.

Dad: alright. I heard that they moved to Kanchanaburi, but didn't get a chance to meet them. As you know, we are so busy these days, unlike when we were young. Haha

Chai: you are right, Chain. I really want to go back to the old days.

They continue to chat…..

I went to the balcony to check the view and it was amazing. Then, I heard footsteps coming toward my direction and I turned around to see a really handsome guy walking to my side. He then greeted me.

Handsome guy: Hi (smile)

Me: Hi (smile back)

Handsome guy: what are you doing?

Me: I'm just looking at the view

Handsome guy: pretty isn't it? Do you like it?

Me: yes, it's really beautiful. I like the view here. It feels so fresh.

I can tell that he's not a talkative person. I'm not a talkative person either so I just answer his question. Then, I heard auntie Som calling us to go back inside. 

Auntie Som: kids, come back inside so that we can have dinner.

Me: ok

The guy looked at me and said:

Handsome guy: let's get inside.

Me: ok

Then, we started walking inside together.
