05. SIT BESIDE HIM?! (2)

I can't explain how awkward it was to sit beside him. He just keeps looking at his book. Once he caught me looking at him, (l was looking at him accidentally) which made me super embarrased.

In order to divert my (stupid) mind, I looked at Amy, who was sitting at the front desk. She was busy gazing at the man beside her ( I know it's quite normal, because she can't control herself when she finds handsome man).

" Poor boy, he must feel suffocated", I said as I felt pity for him.

Suddenly the teacher pointed at me and said,

" The girl over there, turn page 31 and answer the 2nd question".

I was (seriously) shocked by the sudden calling. But I somehow managed to calm myself. The girls were giggling upon seeing me in this condition.

I literally memorized the whole book, so it was just a piece of cake for me. I immediately answered the question in a jiffy. The teacher again asked me another question and I also answered this properly.

The whole class was shocked. Even those who laughed at me couldn't help but look at me with admiration. I smiled (proudly) and asked the teacher,

" May I take my seat sir?"

" Yes, of couse!!"

Finally school ended. I went near Amy and saw her trying ( her best) to flirt with her deskmate. I asked her deskmate (awkwardly), trying my best to not to reveal this side of myself.

" Erm...what's your name?" I asked, to change the awkward situation.

He seemed to be in a daze. I pinched his cheek to make him come to his sense. Suddenly he grabbed both of my hands and said rather in a flirting tone,

" You are the famous beauty queen Rose, right? My name is Max. Nice to meet you, my queen."

I felt relieved thinking that atleast he is comfortable around me. I might as well take advantage of this situation to apologize to him on behalf of Amy.

" Well, I know that I am indeed a beauty queen, ( It feels super good to praise myself) but I am nothing compared to yourself, your majesty! "

" That's right. You won't find a guy who is more gentle, delicate, funny, handsome, cool, -- overall perfect like me. But I must admit that your also very pretty, Miss Emily, atleast thousand, sorry billion times beautiful than this rediculous girl ( Amy )."

" I am really very sorry for her stupid actions...I am apologizing on her behalf..."

" It's okay, Rose.I might forgive her, If only she herself asks me to forgive her. By the way, I gotta go now. I have a match today, It would be my pleasure If you would attend there."

Then he waved his hand to say goodbye and I also did the same (with a perfect cute smile).

" Will you never change, huh? Do you in fact know how much embarrasing this is? Anyway, forget about it. Let's get going." I said to Amy.

" Don't you know that flirting with handsome guys is my hobby? I...can't change that. But seriously, I know that I'm not pretty, but this is the first time someone has rejected me, (she means her flirt) and I guess I have started to like him...wait! where are we going?"

I signed and said,

" Don't you wanna see your prince charming in the field playing? Of course we are going there!"

" Okay! Let's go!"
