Chapter -1
Anaya was a 25 years old medical student who was in her last year of medical school.
She was so done with her life because of the academic pressure she used to receive from her family.
One day she thought of ending her life by coming in front of a random car
But the problem was, the area where she used to live was very isolated from the city, So only a few cars used to come there. Anaya was waiting for vehicles and was walking on the road.
She noticed an old lady sitting on a bench placed behind the footpath.
Anaya
*Who is this old lady? I have never seen her here before. And why does she look so lonely*
Looking at her sitting alone and lonely, Anaya couldn't help but approach her.
Anaya
Who are you granny? And why are you sitting all alone?
old lady
(looking at Anaya) I just moved here today.
old lady
Actually I was born here. The brown house you see here is mine.
Anaya
Oh! But I haven't seen you here before. I thought you were new here.
Anaya
Who is there in your family granny? You were looking so lonely when I saw you from afar.
old lady
There's no one in my family. My husband died last month and I didn't have any kids due to fertility issues.
old lady

Anaya
Why do you think that granny?(looking confused)
old lady
Because every day a lot of strangers pass through here. But only you showed interest in me.
old lady
By the way, what are you doing here alone. It's about to be dark soon. Then it will be very cold.
Anaya
(hesitantly) Actually, I came here to die.I am just so done with being my parents' showoff and on top of that they are putting so much academic pressure on me.
old lady
My child, I know you must be really sad but even with all the problems in life, it can still be beautiful.
Anaya
That's easy for you to say. (feeling sad)
old lady
you think that? Look at me, I was taunted my whole life by society as"barren" but you know what I did. I didn't care and just lived and enjoyed every moment of my life.
She extended a shining blue pendant towards Anaya.
old lady
Here, take this.I got this pendant from my mentor 50 years ago. It is supposed to give you good luck.
Anaya
I can't accept it. It seems to be so expensive.
old lady
(placing the pendant on Anaya's hand) No my child, take this. You know according to a legend cyanus crystals , like the one this pendant is made of fulfill your one wish.
Anaya
(hesitantly)Okay granny.. Thank you. But I think I should go now. It's getting dark. You should also go to your house.
