Sariah reached the location after an hour and when she observed the place she sensed something was off as the place was on the outskirts of the town and rural but she still focused her mind on her work.

Sariah told the one medical staff to bring her kit while she went inside ahead in the farmhouse that was in front of her.

Just when she was about to open a door she saw first, A manly voice from behind grasped her attention and she slowly turned back to look.

Man-1

Don't go there, Come with me! (tells her in a threatened tone)

(scans him and doesn't get a good vibe from him from the way he was dressed up and his tone)

Are you with the patient? (asks him in a stiff tone while following him to the dark gallery)

The man didn't answer her and soon they reached the room which didn't have a door only an entrance, The man stood aside and gestured for Sariah to go inside.

(stayed at the entrance for a second and finally entered the room)

When Sariah stepped inside and walked more she found that it wasn't a room, but a large abandoned underground having few flickering lights.

Her body tensed up as soon as she came in contact with the basement's air. She stopped herself from taking more steps inside as she could see something like a human figure sitting on a chair in the middle of the room.

Shivers ran across her body when she turned to leave as she saw more than six men blocking the entrance and she knew the moment she connected the dots from being called to this place to inside this big basement, she was trapped in.

She knew she didn't have a choice but to walk in and see who trapped her.

But she was horrified when she reached the center of the basement. She saw that the human figure she saw from some distance was a badly bleeding man tied to a chair with a rope.

(words stuck in her throat as she saw him from closer)

Man-1

Treat him and make sure he doesn't die. (orders her in a loud tone)

Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs

B... But who? Who is he? And Who are you? Who did this to him? (asks in a stuttering tone)

Man-1

Treat him now else you will be in his place! (threatens her with a gun)

Sariah tried to stay collected and hopeful and thought if she treated him she could go so she immediately did a nerve check on that person and found he was already dead which parched her soul.

Man-1

Why are you just standing and not doing anything?! (yells at her harshly)

Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs

(startled) He..

Man-1

What? (asks her while pointing a gun at her)

Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs

He... He's dead already. (tells him in a shuddering tone)

Man-1

Make him alive anyhow otherwise I will kill you. (threatens her loudly while putting the gun directly between her eyebrows)

(stumbles and falls on the ground by his sudden action)

Man-1

(sits on the ground while she wriggles back)

(The back touches the cold iron of a broken chair)

Let me go. (says to him in a scared tone)

Man-1

Do you think that I will let you go from here this easily, Doctor? (says while sitting loosely on the ground and smiling creepily at her)

That person was dead already, so I can't do anything about this, Please let me go I won't tell anybody about this. (says to him in a lamenting tone)

She thought he might let her go if she kept pleading with him, but it turned out exactly the opposite. That man ordered someone to bring a rope and tie her to another chair which made her lose all hope at once.

She out cried when she saw a man holding a long bundle of rope coming towards her.

Man-1

Let's tie her and enjoy for now. (declares loudly)

Man with the rope:- where will you go? I will hunt you down chick. (says while coming towards her)

She shiveringly stood up while holding the iron chair behind her and tried to run away from the man who was reaching for her to tie her down but when she ran a few steps to reach the another door on the other side of the basement while constantly checking if he was coming towards her but in this chase she banged herself into someone broad and super tall for her height.

She smelled a dark yet deep mesmerizing cologne in the dirty atmosphere which immediately shocked her, She stayed closer to him for a few more seconds as something clicked in her brain and finally stood at the left and looked at the tall figure she just bumped into.

She immediately knew she had seen these sharp keen eyes before and when she hit her memory spot while taking her steps away from him, she remembered the night and the man in front of her resembled the man exactly so by now she assumed he was the boss of whatever happened here. But, She never expected he would look this handsome without his face covered, but the bitter truth was he was a skilled handsome killer.

Why are you here? (asks in a deep tone while keenly looking at her)

(entangled her hands tightly at her back so that he could only see her front)

She knew he also remembered her of course he was the one who didn't kill her after knocking her down that night. Maybe he showed her mercy, but she knew couldn't expect him to show mercy anymore, especially at the place where if he buried her alive no one would ever know.

I saw you killing that night that's why you trapped me all the way here. So, Why are you questioning me like I came here by myself?! (says loudly to him in a pretending to be fearless tone)

(stood strong while legs were trembling)

Man with the rope: - (stopped after seeing him)

(scrunches his eyebrows at her)

You come here. (signals his man to come)

Man-1

Yes Boss.

I told you to call Dr. Jordan here then why is she here? (asks him while keenly looking at her)

Man-1

(gulps harder) Sir Big Boss told me to send her name.

Eliseo immediately understood why Big Boss sent her here and just when he looked down to take his phone out from his jacket, He found Sariah standing next to him while aiming a gun directly at his forehead.

Yes, Sariah secretly pulled the small revolver from Eliseo's back when she bumped into him and kept it behind her back all this time.

Every man there was so shocked when they saw her aiming a gun at him that everybody immediately pointed their gun at her.

Don't you all dare to come even a bit closer to me otherwise I'll pull the trigger. (warns loudly while her heartbeat races like a horse)

(squints his eyes slightly towards her and smirks sharply underneath)

Drop your guns now, or I will shoot! (warns loudly while threatening them by sticking the gun more at the side of his forehead)

Drop your guns now. (orders in a deep attentive yet calm tone)

Walk out and don't try to do anything clever here else I'll shoot directly in your handsome face, Mr killer! (threatens him with a fearless tone)

Everybody dropped their guns and Sariah started to take Eliseo out with herself from the other entrance thinking she would escape, but she was unaware of the result she brought on herself with her stupid action.
