Chapter 1 - Her End

The hot sun warmed the country, Nimrod and in the holy city of Naim. There was a temple where the soaness, her teacher, priests, holy guards and royal knights lived.

The warm breeze blow through the grasslands and passed by the temple. The temple was well-built and was full of luxuries. The priests prayed every day into the temple with the saintess. The saintess must express her powers every prayer. Priests watched with full of admiration until Emilia showed she could wield both dark magic and holy magic.

Holy magic is known as pure and dark magic represents demons. If you wield both, then some people consider you half demon, however all magic is the same.

Emilia is rhe saintess who is known as the purest saintess that ever lived with the most purest aura, and magic. No demon could stand being ever near her which made Naim, the most peaceful holy city.

A priest said, "I bet she is half demon."

Emilia asked, "What is the difference between dark magic and holy magic?"

The priest said, "Demons wield dark magic!"

Priests roared, "Demon!"

Emilia pleaded, "Listen to me, please! Demons can wield holy magic as well! Magic is magic, there is no difference!"

The priests didn't listen, and they used their magic to block her magic flow. Royal knights came in and chained her up and dragged her to the dungeons, locking her in the cage with the most protection.

Emilia pleaded, "Wait. Please."

A Royal knights named, Leo asked aggressively, "Saintess, you went to the dark side, didn't you? Why did you? You had everything!"

Emilia said, "No, I swear!"

Furthermore, she sees her teacher who taught her and her teacher, James said, "My plan is falling into pieces, so you were sacrificial lamb."

She feels pure anger rushing over her and her teacher just laughed. She bites her lip, can't believe how she was betrayed. Not only that, but she saw many priests pass by with a satisfied face. She felt hatred for the priests, her teacher, and even the knights.

Emilia yelled, "I hope every single one of you go to hell for this!"

The priests laughed, "This is for your own good, saintess."

She hears an announcement that is addressed to the citizens of Niam, "Attention, citizens we no longer have a saintess and would soon be applying for anew one. Emilia, our precious saintess has gone over to the dark side. She can wield dark magic.

After a few weeks, she was so weak, she couldn't stand. They haven't fed her and the she showed her weak side, the holy knights dragged her out of her cage. She couldn't fight it, her magic was almost drained out of her because of the cage. They put her on big wooden cross and tied her up. They made an announcement, "Citizens of Niam, we allow you to burn the devil saintess!"

The fire burned her skin, and the smoke released chemicals casing her to die of poison.
