I look and notice a gigantic spider running up my arm.
In a desperate attempt to shake it off, I lose my footing and my dress gets caught on a vine.
I accidentally let go of the ledge I was holding on to and fall, letting the dress rip away.

I close my eyes ready to accept my fate from the fall.
A strong and steady pair of arms had grabbed me and stopped me from hitting the hard rocky surface.

The man standing before me had a mask on, but I could still tell it was no ordinary face that he was hiding under.
If Adonis King was the most beautiful and charming man I had set my eyes upon, then this man was certainly the most devilishly handsome man.
His eyes had a demonic glow in them under the moonlight, almost like a vampire, and I was lost in them.
The mask he wore was black just like the rest of his outfit, making him look mysterious and intriguing.
His dark ruffled hair glistened and set it apart from the rest of his dark clothes and mask.
I was speechless at the devil of a man that was carrying me in his arms.
