In the office, again
Ever since that meeting at the office, the professor took every opportunity to torment her.
'Miss Dallas, solve this on the board.' or 'Miss Dallas, collect the test papers and keep them on my desk.' or sometimes, it is 'Miss Dallas, concentrate in class, and sit up straight, please.'
She sometimes thought to herself,
'What a madman! He's clearly enjoying this... Not gentlemanly at all! So different from the man in my dreams!'
Professor Lloyd
Are you complaining, sweetheart?
Every time he called her 'sweetheart'...she felt weak in the knees... It made her feel like she could do anything if it meant he'd call her that.
The worst part, was that he knew that very well. He knew about the power he had over her, just from the way her ears turned red each time he called her 'sweetheart'.
He never really bothered to remember the names of any of his students, much less give them a nickname... But there was something about Andrea that intrigued him.
Of course, that was only because she was an excellent student, yes. That was all. Nothing more.
Professor Lloyd's Office:
Professor Lloyd
*Slams her test papers on his desk*
Professor Lloyd
What is this, Miss Dallas? Such poor performance, and on the very first test, no less. *angry*
Andrea Dallas
*Embarrassed* I'm sorry. I'll do better next time. I promise, professor Lloyd.
Professor Lloyd
You don't have a choice but to do better. I have very high expectations of you.... and you have great potential.
Andrea Dallas
(But I don't understand..... Why is he saying this only to me? There are many others who do much better than me… Why am I always receiving such special attention from him?)
Andrea Dallas
(Does he, perhaps know about the dreams? Is he really that man? I remember that man having a mole on his left thigh, right above his knees...)
Andrea Dallas
*Whispers to herself* What if the professor too has a mole on his left thigh?
Professor Lloyd
I see just how much attention you are paying to my advice, Miss Dallas.
Professor Lloyd
Rather than worrying about failing, you seem much more concerned about the mole on my thigh, which, I do wonder, how you came to know about.
Professor Lloyd
Since it seems to me that you are awfully interested in things you shouldn't be poking your nose into.... Let me, just this once, indulge your curiosity...*smirks*
He then slowly began to unbuckle his belt, seemingly unfazed at his student's boldness, or rather, foolish curiosity.
