Son. *crying* Oh my, you’ve grown lean. Look at you…….you’re not my son anymore
Damien Beckett
Mother. You’re overreacting.
Damien came here just so he could escape from having to stay in the house alone yet the first thing he experienced was nagging. He was not ready for that.
Damien Beckett
I’ll be in my room. Let’s talk later
Mrs Beckett (ml mum)
*confused, looks at her hubby*
Mr Beckett (ml dad)
*shrugged*
She glanced at him while he ascended the stairs and disappeared from her sight. She angrily slumped herself on the couch anxiously tapping her feet irritating her husband.
Mr Beckett (ml dad)
Honey. There is no need to be anxious.
Mr Beckett (ml dad)
Our son can takes care of himself. He’s a father now…..you need to treat him as such *sad to admit*
Mrs Beckett (ml mum)
I know but he……*lost for words*
Mr Beckett (ml dad)
I understand. But remember what today is……..
Mrs Beckett (ml mum)
*remembers* Ah!
Everyone in the family knew he usually visited his late wife and it was now a tradition. Yet, no one likes seeing him mourning for her for that long. He needed to start seeing someone….if not for himself then for his daughter.
