Jungkook took his jacket off and turned around

Taehyung

Can you tell me where you were? You didn't answer any of my texts.

Taehyung was standing there, his arms crossed and his leg shaking. He had been waiting for hours, he had planned many things for them but his boyfriend didn't even bother answering his calls nor his texts, disturbing Taehyung's plans.

Jungkook

I'm sorry baby, my phone died like 4 hours ago and-

Taehyung

You were with him, weren't you?

Jungkook

Him? Now you won't even say his name? Jimin's my best friend since I can remember! Why do you hate him so much?

Taehyung

Because he's a fucking whore !

Jungkook took a step back, a scoff coming out of his mouth.

Jungkook

You've got to be kidding me. When are you going to understand that it only happened once? And we weren't even together at the time!

Taehyung

Taehyung mumbled before walking to the couch, plopping onto it. Jungkook followed, standing right in front of his boyfriend.

Jungkook

What is wrong with you? Why are you getting mad at me for spending time with my best friend? Because we fucked once when we were 17?! That's why you're mad at me?"

Taehyung stood up, a few inches away from Jungkook.

Taehyung

You want to know why? Because you spend all your fucking time with him! Tell me when was the last time we ate together? When was the last time we didn't just fuck and sleep right away? Tell me when was the last fucking time you said you loved me! Tell me!

Tears ran down both of their faces. Jungkook's legs were shaking, and he felt like his heart was about to explode, those words, all the things that Taehyung said were true, but he loved him! He always had loved him and he didn't understand why Taehyung would think otherwise.

Jungkook

Taehyung, i... You know I love you. You're the love of my life.

He inhaled sharply, as more tears threatened to come out.

Jungkook

If I spend so much time with Jimin lately it's because he's helping me with-

Taehyung

Leave..

Jungkook

Wh-What? Taehyung baby!

He reached for Taehyung's face but the older looked away.

Taehyung

I don't want to hear your dumb excuses and i... I don't want to see your fucking face again, just leave

And at that moment, Jungkook's heart shattered, the pieces spreading everywhere and all he could say, for the last time:

He felt like his body would collapse at any moment as he left his apartment, tears running down his face.

He got in his car, he didn't even notice the rain pouring on the windows nor his phone buzzing as he drove fast, heading to nowhere, he just needed to think, he needed time, he needed to feel something, anything but the aching pain in his chest.

Maybe that's why it didn't hurt when his car crashed into that tunnel wall.

As soon as Tae heard Jungkook's car start, Taehyung realized what had just happened, he didn't want to hurt Jungkook, he swore that he would never hurt him so how could he not keep his promise? He ran out of the apartment, leaving the lights on and the door open. Jungkook's car was already out of sight but he kept running, his lungs felt cold, his hair and clothes were soaked, but he kept running.

Until he heard a deafening sound, and his heart stopped; For a second, but he couldn't move, his feet were stuck into the ground, he had no strength in his legs anymore. He didn't see the flashing red lights. He didn't hear the siren. He was paralyzed.

Then the ambulance drove past him and he started feeling again. He ran, faster than he ever did, following it.

There he saw him, the love of his life, laying next to a destroyed car, blood covering his body. He tried to run to him but someone stopped him, ignoring his screams and cries

Taehyung

Let me go! That's my boyfriend.

His voice cracked.

Taehyung

Please let me go! I need to see him, i.....

He fell.

Taehyung

Please let me go...

He was crying, and he couldn't stop if he wanted to, but he didn't. He couldn't stop, he couldn't breathe, he was numb.
