The First Meeting

I was sitting in one of the benches in the park , I generally keep on visiting the park but I had never felt like this before . The fact that I was earlier than usual made me feel a little weird there was no one around . I have always hated to be alone especially in a beautiful park , but then I realized that I am not only one .

         I was earlier than usual so I decided to take a walk in the park. When I stopped in the middle of the park to take a rest for a while, something shiny striked my eyes , like a diamond . I have always been curious , so I started walking in the direction of shine. When I reached I saw something that I had heard only in stories it was a vampire . The cold blood-sucking immortal beast. I could not believe it , but even after that all I wanted to do was run. Something had stopped me that was my curiosity but also his skin that was shining like diamond because of the sunlight , but even his shiny skin could not stop my brain from thinking the results of meeting a vampire. I could not run because I knew that there was no point. He is way faster than me and probably the only thing left for me to do was to stand still and become his food. The last thing I would wish for was that the vampire would notice me . Rather than running towards me to suck my blood , he seemed shocked to look at me,  standing there even after knowing that he is a vampire. He expected me to run like others. He started walking towards me and my heart started beating very fast, it almost felt like it would come out of my chest . His eyes draken , it looked like he was deciding what he would do to me. The same question going through my head, I was feeling that it was the last day of my life, my eyes filled with tears .

Something that was least expected happened, rather than sucking my blood, all he did was smiled at me and again his eyes changed colour. They became lighter than before , giving me a little relief that showed that he had made his mind that he would not eat me up . He was injured, though I was scared of him at first he seemed to be comforting later. It took me a lot of courage to tell him that I can help him , using the minimum of my  vocabulary I said ‘can I help’ . After listening to me it seemed like he was not even sure that I am a human. When I went closer to him to help him, all he said to me was that I should run before he loses his control . I wanted to help but without waiting for another second I ran away, but when i was getting ready to leave I saw a desire in his eyes. Somehow I felt that even if I run away now there is no point because he will come back later.
