Fields Of Fate: A Rebirth In Another World
Chapter 05
‘Taro’
Good morning, everyone!
Taro woke up to a bright and sunny day, feeling energized and ready to work on his farm.
He had recovered from the storm and was excited to see how his crops had fared.
‘Taro’
Time to check on my vegetables.
As he made his way to his farm, Taro noticed that something was wrong.
Some of his crops had been trampled, and his scarecrows were lying on the ground, broken and destroyed.
‘Taro’
What happened here?
‘Taro’
Did some animals get loose?
He looked around and saw that some of the trees had been cut down, and there were signs of footprints and tool marks in the soil.
‘Taro’
This looks like the work of humans. But who would do this?
He searched the area and found a piece of cloth lying on the ground.
It was a deep blue, with a crest embroidered on it.
‘Taro’
Wait a minute… this looks familiar.
He remembered seeing the same crest on a group of travelers who had passed through the village a few days ago.
They had seemed friendly enough, but Taro couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off about them.
‘Taro’
I need to talk to Akari and Hikari about this. Maybe they know something.
He made his way to the village and found his friends gathered around the town square, discussing the latest news and gossip.
‘Taro’
Hey, guys. I need your help.
Akari
What’s wrong, Taro? You look upset.
Taro explained what had happened on his farm, showing them the piece of cloth he had found.
Hikari
That crest… I’ve seen it before. It belongs to the kingdom of Rindor.
Akari
But why would they do this? We haven’t done anything to them.
Hikari
Maybe they see us as competition.
Hikari
We’ve been doing well with our crops, and maybe they want to take over our land.
‘Taro’
But what can we do? We’re just farmers. We don’t have any weapons or armies.
Akari
We’ll need to be smart about this.
Akari
We’ll gather the other villagers and come up with a plan.
Hikari
And in the meantime, we’ll keep a close eye on our crops and our borders.
Hikari
We can’t let them get the upper hand.
‘Taro’
Thanks, guys. I knew I could count on you.
As the villagers rallied together to defend their land and their way of life, Taro felt a sense of pride and belonging.
He had come to this world alone, but he had found a new family in the community of farmers who had taken him in.
‘Taro’
I may not have a kingdom or an army, but I have something more valuable.
‘Taro’
I have friends who will stand by me no matter what.
Even in the face of adversity, Taro and his friends remained determined to protect their land and their way of life.
But will they be able to fend off the threats from the kingdom of Rindor?
Stay tuned for the next chapter!
