John bumps into Kiyo and doesn't say sorry.
Kiyo

“Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there.” *John Smirks.*
Kiyo
“You are the one that looks like a background character! How did you even miss my gorgeous figure!”
Kiyo
“I’m sorry to break it to you but you're not gonna pass today. The company is looking for gorgeous people. Not wannabes who think they can make it as idols.”
Noel
*Noel accidentally eavesdrops on everything.*
John
“W-Why you-” *John starts to shake with anger.*
Noel
“Now, Now~ calm down guys. We won't know unless he tries, right?” *Noel glances at Kiyo.*
Kiyo
“Don’t get his hopes up.” *Kiyo glares at Noel.*
John
“Tsk.” *John decides to walk away.*
Noel
“You really are a spoiled brat, aren't you?” *Noel does a fake bright smile at Kiyo.*
Kiyo
“What was that?” *Kiyo glares at Noel again.*
Noel
*Noel whispers in Kiyo’s ear.* “With that attitude, you won't make it at all in the K-pop industry.”
Noel
*Noel stops the whispering and does a fake bright smile again.* “Well then, I guess we’ll see who gets in today~” *Noel walks away.*
Kiyo
“That bastard! Grr! He doesn't know anything! He’ll be the one who doesn't get in!”
Kiyo’s father is the CEO of the company he is trying to get into. But, the father wouldn't put his son in the company if he isn't good. So, Kiyo doesn't get the upper hand in this at all. Also, Kiyo doesn't like to cheat, so he wouldn't tell his mother to kick out any contestants even if they do piss him off.
Afterward. The additions are done and the results come out.
Kiyo’s Father (Ambrose)
*Ambrose sighs.*
Kiyo’s Father (Ambrose)
“I’ll be honest. 96% of you didn't get in. You were all ass and I expect more from you in the future additions.”
Kiyo’s Father (Ambrose)
“The ones that got in are gonna form a 4-boy group.”
Kiyo’s Father (Ambrose)
“I feel like they would sound good together and it was destiny that brought them together.”
A group!? I would be better off as a soloist!

“First we have, Noel.”
Noel
“I didn't doubt myself for a second~”
That guy!? Him!? He's the idiot here! How!? Did he use some type of trick or something?
Kiyo’s Father (Ambrose)
“Next we have, Ash. He has an extendable leader aura. I will have him be the leader of this group.”
That’s fine. I’m glad I'm not the leader. If I was the leader, I would have to teach all the losers everything and I would rather practice than do that.
Kiyo’s Father (Ambrose)
“Next is, Elias.”
What!? Why is he better looking than me!? I know he’ll get on my nerves…

“And finally. I'm most proud of this contestant. If he didn't do good, he’d have to audition next year like the rest of you.”

*Noel rolls his eyes at the mention of Kiyo.*

“I knew I’d get in. Peace of cake.”
Afterward, somewhere in the building.

“This will be your room.”

“So big and luxurious!”

“It’s like a house more than a room.”

“There's a kitchen. Living room area. 2 rooms and 3 bathrooms. One bathroom in each room and another outside the rooms for the guests or if you are in a hurry. Also, there's a laundry room too.”
Jun
“Yes. Most famous idols have 2-4 rooms, depending on how many members they have. It’s to bond and get along, I guess you can say.”
Jun
“Oh! I forgot to introduce myself.”
Jun
“My name is Jun. I’ll be your manager.”
Kiyo
“Who’ll be my roommate?”
After the drawing straws.
Wait…. Isn't that the guy who looks better than me!?
Elias
“I’m guessing you’re Kiyo?”
He’s totally looking down on me!
Noel
“Phew! At least I didn't get Kiyo.”
Kiyo
“I’m glad to, actually. I would have hated you as my roommate.”

*Noel glares at Kiyo.*

“Now, Now, guys. Stop bickering.”
Elias
“I’m going to my room.”
Kiyo
“OUR room, you mean!”
Elias
“Whatever…” *Elias goes inside the room to unpack.*
Kiyo
*Kiyo goes as well to unpack.*

“What the hell!? You are a total slob! You are throwing your things everywhere!”
Elias
“So? It’s my room, I can do what I want.”
Kiyo
“Your room!? You mean OUR room! Don't forget your sharing it with me!”
Elias
*Elias sighs.* “Why did I get such an annoying roommate?”
Kiyo
“Me? Annoying? What about y-” *Kiyo trips over something.*
Kiyo
“Ow…? Huh?” *Kiyo sees a vape, He quickly grabs it and shoves it into Elias’ face as he get up. “What is this!? You can't be vaping if you're becoming an idol!”
Elias
*Elias snatches the vape from Kiyo’s hand, looking annoyed.*
“What the hell?! I can do whatever I want!”
“This has nothing to do with this stupid group, you’re not my mother.”
*Elias glares at Kiyo as if he were the one in the wrong.*
Kiyo
“This group has to be perfect no matter what! You’ll ruin it with your vaping!”
Elias
*Elias scoffs and rolls his eyes.*
“What would *you* know about this industry?! I’ve done research. You can’t control what I do in my free time. Now give me that back.”
*Elias gestures to the vape, waiting to get it back.*
Kiyo
*Kiyo glares at Elias.* “Whatever!” *Kiyo gives the vape back to him with an annoyed expression.*

“Mother. You called for me?”
Kiyo’s Mother (Celeste)
“Yes. I wanted to congratulate you on your debut. I never doubted you would pass without a second thought” *She says with a cold expression.*
Kiyo’s Mother (Celeste)
“Just don't turn out like you're good for nothing brother.” *She says with a sigh.*

“I won't. Because I will never use you like he did Mother.”
Kiyo’s Mother (Celeste)
“That’s a good boy.” *She pats Kiyo’s head.*

*Kiyo warmly smiles at this gesture.*

“Now, tell me about your bandmates. Are they any good?” *She goes back to her cold expression.*

*Kiyo flinches.* “I-I’m not sure. Father picked them so I’m guessing they are. Don't worry! They're all kind people! They don't look down on me!”
Kiyo’s Mother (Celeste)
“That’s good to hear. Remember, make sure no one looks down on you.”
Kiyo
“Yes, Mother…” *Kiyo looks down to the ground.*
Zion
*Zion eavesdrops.* “Is that one of the members of the new group?” *Zion mumbles.*

“And…” *Zion looks up.* “his mother. Is the ex soloist who quit 15 years ago.”
Zion
“She’s intimidating...” *Zion shivers playfully.* “Whatever, not any of my business.” *Zion walks away after getting his drink from the vending machine.*
A week later, in the practice room.
Jun
“Your group name will be, Chain Reaction.”
Noel
“Chain Reaction!? So cool!” *Noel says with excitement.*
Kiyo
“It’s better than my brother’s, so that’s all I care about.”
Ash
Ash flinches. “Haru!? The Haru from Shadow!?”
Kiyo
“Yeah. I don't understand why you are making such a big deal out of it…”
Noel
“Of course, we’ll make a big deal! Shadow is the best group in SM entertainment! They make tons of cash too!”
Kiyo
“I still don't get it.”
Elias
“He’s your brother so of course you wouldn't make a big deal out of it.”
Kiyo
“No one asked you anything, Elias. So keep your mouth shut for once please.”
Elias
“I’m sorry main character. Did I step into your light too much?” *Elias says mockingly.*
Jun
“Guys. Please stop arguing for once.”
Elias
“Me? I was just stating an opinion. You're the one who got all up in my ass about it.”
The practice room door opens and people walk in.

“Oh! So this is the new group?”
Silas
“Haru, did you even congratulate your little brother yet?”
Leo
*Leo yawns and rubs his eyes.* “Such good looking people.”
Haru
“Tsk. What is there to congratulate? He's just a loyal puppy to our mother.”
