Lan wangji and Wei Wuxian when got off the ancestral cave headed straight to Lan Xichen and Lan Qiren to explain what happened.

Lan Qiren was fuming in anger when Lan wangji mentioned about him tying his forehead ribbon around Wei Wuxian's wrist just to protect him.

Just to protect him no matter how ritual the forehead ribbon is for Lan's.

Lan Qiren sent the news to Jiang fengmian and Yu Ziyuan about this matter, the moment they both got to know about this news they rushed to cloud recesses.

Lan Qiren, Jiang Fengmian and Yu Ziyuan discussed this and finally decided to marry Wei Wuxian with Lan wangji.

Lan wangji and Wei Wuxian protested that they don't want to marry each other but who knows no one took their opinions.

Lan wangji 'never' thought about his marriage, even if he did, he didn't expect 'Wei Wuxian' would be the one he would marry!!

Wei Wuxian 'never imagined' his marriage would be all of a sudden, he never imagined that this cold 'Lan wangji' would be his husband!!

The marriage was held within three days as Lan Qiren didn't want the dignity of Lan's to be vanished, even the fingertip of an ant.

Wei Wuxian sat facing the mirror in front of him, looking at his own reflection, contemplating if he was supposed to be happy that he was marrying or sad now that he was marrying a man who he didn't like!!

The wedding of his dreams was never a very clear image in his head. But the one thing he thought he was sure of was the fact that Jiang Cheng Jiang Yanli Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu would be there. He doesn't have any other family so he always imagined the Jiangs would be where his family was supposed to be.

"Shijie I'm not a girl to be beautiful, I'm handsome" Wei Wuxian

"Who said only girls must be beautiful??

It can be applied to anyone who is beautiful don't compare with gender" Jiang Yanli

"I hope you'd live happily ever after A-Xian" Jiang Yanli

"There is nothing to be happy about." Wei Wuxian replied, "An arranged marriage with no love is nothing to be happy about."

"A-Xian, stop thinking that way. I am sure this marriage would turn out just the way you expect it to be!"

"The way I expect it to be?" Wei Wuxian questioned.

"Yes."

"But, how do I really expect it to be?"

"You will find out soon." Jiang Yanli assured him

Wei Wuxian was confused but Jiang Yanli's assuring smile made him feel better.

They all reached the ancestral hall of Lan's. It was a ritual wedding, but simple.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji kneeled down on the floor of the ancestor hall. Lan Qiren removed Lan Wangji's forehead ribbon. He tied it around Lan Wangji's left wrist and the other end tied it around Wei Wuxian's right wrist.

Then they bowed towards their elders who were Lan Qiren, Lan Xichen Jiang Fengmian, Yu Ziyuan and Jiang Yanli.

After that, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji bowed to each other. In the end "Lan wangji and Wei Wuxian were married".

After finishing the wedding, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji stood up. Then they served the elders tea.

Wei Wuxian served Lan Qiren and Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji served Jiang Fengmian, Yu Ziyuan and Jiang Yanli.

After the tea ceremony, the elders blessed the newly wedded couple.

I literally searched the whole three nights for all my Wangxian, Xianwang pictures 😭😭

Those all were deleted now.
