Chapter 3

Fire burning around that village. Many dead body and blood in everywhere. All house is burn and badly damage.  It seems this village have a massacre from something evil.  Seems look two unknown people in the far village. A child and wound people. That child looking Shuu and say something.

" ....i-san ... ple.... ...op....."

Shuu cannot hear clearly because sound of fire.

Suddenly the fire the enlarged and override both of that person.

Shuu open his eyes.

'Ahh ... damn. This dream again.'

The curtain in Shuu's room is open.

"Good morning master. Did you sleep nicely?"

Then a maid put the cup in beside Shuu's bed.

"Here your Earl grey tea"

Shuu dazzled a little bit.

"Uhh .... morning too, Jean. Well ......." Shuu paused.

"Ah it was. Just a dream as usual. Umm ... by the way, how their situation?"

Jean look at Shuu a second.

"Relax master. There is no strange things or side effects after their went home from the dungeon yesterday."

Shuu sipping the tea.

"Good. That old man must be keeping his promise."

"By the way master, I already set up your hot water. Do you want me help you for bath?"

Shuu put the cup

--- clack ... ---

"I want to take a long bath, so today i wanna take a bath by myself. You can make a breakfast for me"

"Okay master. Excuse me first"

"Oh yeah ... thank you Jean for your help"

Jean smile thin.

"It's no problem master."

After Jean say that, she walk out from the room.

--- Blam  ---

'hahhhh....'  Shuu sighed.

He walk out into balcony.

Shuu take out an old necklace. 

"It's been a many long time ago. I don't know how much I forget our precious moment."

Therein there is a picture. There are 4 people there. Look like the people in that picture is very happy. He was remembered when his mother often read the story books for him. Book he met at the dungeon exactly same with the book his mother read. Cover and paper the book is rather dull. In the book, there have some goods for support of the story. Such as when the story is fight it against the Viper, in the book there have a canine's Viper itself. Shuu smile while thinking of her mother. But suddenly Shuu look bad mood and upset. Then he remember about that day.

"Goddess Viani, when the curse of this to be finish? Its not my fault for cause the big war at last. When you will let me die and met with my family in there?"

After bath, Shuu soon to get the dining room. There are available breakfast for him that provide by Jean.

While eating, Shuu check again their circumstances.

Then appear a screen in front of Shuu. The screen display like a video.

"Check Lant, Sean, Ren and Lyvi"

One by one, the screen displays what they do right now.

Lant is still asleep.

'His was a sleepy head. He is not going to get up this early' think Shuu.

"Next..."

Sean was helping his father's cut Wood.

"Next..."

Ren was helping her mother to prepare breakfast.

"Next..."

When the screen display the state of Lyvi, the screen looks like a foggy. Its have the shadow behind the fog. 

It is Lyvi!!!

She was in bathroom. Shuu shocked and soon uncast his spell. He will not be thought the timing his too right. He just want to check out the state of them.

"Fiuhh .... i think i doesn't have worry about them."

After breakfast, Shuu preparing to school. Rizen's academy is  quite well known. One of 9 soldiers rank S legend is a graduate from this school. Therefore, many noble deliberately go to the Finzy city for make their son studied in here. Graduates from this academy will usually between 2 job. The first is a soldier in a Kingdom, and the second become an adventure working in the Guild.

To work in the Kingdom, usually a student who comes from a special class. Only a few talented student can get into this class. And to be adventure, there is no terms special.

Actually to be adventure no need to have to school. Actually someone who register himself into the Guild and can do some quest, he will be able to work as an adventure. The different is if someone gets recommendation from academy, then they did not need to test for the written. He just need test only the combat ability.

"Good morning Lyvi ....." say Ren.

"Yes ... morning" response Lyvi with a smile.

"You seem a little tired. It is because yesterday?"

"..." Lyvi look space out.

"Lyvi!!!"

"Ahh ... sorry Ren."

"You alright? You wanna rest at home?" Asked Ren worry

"I'm alright. Might just a bit of fatigue."

Ren see Lyvi's face it is a little bit tired.

"Yesterday we suddenly in the health room at school. I can't remember the incident of yesterday how can we get in there. Is the principal save us?" Ask Ren

"Maybe we can ask principal later after school" replied Lyvi.

"All right. Do not force yourself Lyvi .... I worry"

"Yeah ... relax"

"Hey Lant.....  Today we have Sir Izen's class ."

"Yeah....he will teach us some skill right? ."

"Yes....By the way, your father go looking for medicine again?" Asked Sean

"Its right.... My sister's disease seems more bad. Father try looking for info and herbal for her in the next city."

"And Shuu, you must join too." Invite Sean.

at noon......

"Come on guys... today we will try to practice buff. Buff ability will be useful to fight the witch. They need pronunciation some spells with a long time. With that time difference, we can attack them before they launch their magic."

Then Izen Sensei perform his buff.

"[Atk up] "

Izen Sensei's body surrounded with aura. Thar aura has a red color. The height of that aura around 3x from Sir Izen's height. 

"[Def up]"

this time that aura has yellow color.

" [Agi up]"

this time aura has purple color. 

"Well ... is this a result of skill buff that i'm say earlier. Red aura have increase your attack, yellow aura have increase defense, and purple aura have increase your agility ."  said Sir Izen.

"My Level is 6. As you can see, my aura have 3x of my high body. By the way, does anyone here already can use the buff?" 

Someone a classmate move forward with confident. His name is Kevin Mcyard. He was a son from Marron Mcyard. Mcyard is one of four viscount in this city. The problem is Kevin like to bully other student who has weaker then him. 

"I already learn it from professional, look..."

"[Atk up]"

That aura just shroud Kevin's body.

"Good, you already know the basic. Kevin's skill is level 2." 

"Woahh .." 

Other student in its class was amazed with Kevin's aura. 

"Anybody want to try??" 

Nobody forward. 

"Alright ... now we have to check your level" 

Then Izen Sensei put out something like black stone.

"Come on guys..... this stone will help you to measure your level." say Izen Sensei. 

First Kevin, his buff is level 2. Then the 5 other have level same with Kevin, the 8 other have level 1 and 3 other have level 0 . Lant entered in level 2 category. Sean, Ren, and Lyvi entered in level 1. Lastly, now its Shuu's turn to check his level.

'Its to odd if my buff level is to high. I will make my level into 0' 

'[hide status]'

Shuu move forward and touching the stone, that stone glow a little and make some pattern like number 0.

" Ok Shuu, your level is 0. Don't get discouraged, you can still developing your buff level. " say Izen Sensei.

Then Shuu back into his place.

" Shuu you level 0. Don't be sad. I envy with Lant. because he already have buff level 2, hahaha..... " said Sean.

"Hey, hey, it just probably just a different for physical strength." answer Lant .

"Yes .... we know. But still..... i'm wanna have power like you." sulk Ren.

"My dream is Paladin and i must learn some healing spell. it must be so hard." dreaming Lant.

"You always dreaming about become Paladin. You must studied and make some 100 score in you test" say Sean.

"Hey... don't break my dream with that score test. I hate study"say Lant.

"haha... just kidding. By the way, how 'bout you Shuu?"

All of them staring at Shuu.

"Err.....I don't know. Maybe just become an adventure?. Hahha ..." 

"Are you sure?" ask Ren.

"Yupp....ahahaa" say Shuu

"Well .... to be able to use the buff, try you concentration your muscle. The main purpose buff is increasing physical ability of you." say Izen Sensei

"Hey, I feel like there blanket wrap my body. Warm and comfortable. Is really like this?" say other boy student.

"Yes, I also feel it. But this aura looks like the steam" say other girl student.

Shuu only concentrate some buff a little bit. Just make some aura covered him. 

"Why you cannot make some aura? You so stupid. Why you school in here? Its not your place."

Shuu hear some a mock. Its come from Kevin.

'Is he happy if he do that? Why that personality always exist at every school?' ask Shuu.

Kevin mock one student who look so weak. His name Jun. He is Shuu's classmate. He don't have a friend because he was mocked for a demon child by everyone. This is because of his mother Jun possessed by demon when pregnant. 

Once ago when Jun aged 5 years, he was crying hard because he had hit from his friend. Suddenly Jun create some fire and burn his friend.

In this era if someone can do a magic, its mean he already doing a contract with a demon. Just a demon who can make the contractor do a magic too.

And since the incident, Jun so quiet and like be alone. 

"All right child. Today the lesson is finish." 

All student stop their practice.

"Okayy !!!!! See you sensei". say all student.

After all student has left the exercise room, Izen sensei back into the teacher room. In front of door teacher room, look someone waiting Izen sensei.

"Hey..."

"Umm...Who?"

Suddenly, she make a fire magic and try to attack Izen.

"Woah.....take it easy. I just joke."

Then she off her magic.

"I will really kill you next time if you do that again."

"I'm just bored you know. Nothing special this day"

"I want you do that plan now."

"Hmm....Are you need it now?" 

"Yes ... I wait too long. I just want see My lord have his throne again." 

"Huh ..... in fact I think i can still playing with that student. But if you need it now give me time 1 mon...." 

"1 week" 

"Woah...? You know the level of security here pretty tight. I need prepare" 

"1 week !!" 

'hahhh...this demon.'

"well .....i will try do that in 1 week" 

"..." 

Then she disappeared in the shadow.

Then prepare dinner and hot water for Shuu.

Shuu are in a room. Look there is an old woman who was asleep on a bed. She looks weak. Shuu are in beside from the bed. 

"Its my last wish, Shuu. Just you who can do that. Please remove that demon from my nephew?"

"How can you sure? It just the contractor who can use magic you know." say Shuu.

"I believe my  cute niece its still child. He never do a contract with the Devil. He still pure for his age" look smile on her 

"That demon possessed my nephew's body. And you definitely have some magic how to separate that demon?" 

"... you still not afraid if i do something to your nephew?" 

"Come on Shuu .... your personality is a good man. I believe that..... and maybe my nephew can make a friend with you. " 

"Hey...don't make me canceled you request. And I've older than you Ester ...."

"Ahaha... i'm sorry. "

"All right. i will take your quest."

"Shuu ...." 

"Hmm ...." 

"Thank you because you always to be my friend. Sorry I cannot help you about that curse. My time is already near." 

"Yeah... your welcome. Its okay. Just wait me, Ester "

Ester smile again and slowly she closed his eyes. And lips look beautiful smile .

'hahhhhhh....' Shuu take a long breath.

'The preparation soon to be completed. I will keep my promise to you. Relax Ester ..'

In the night the full moon bright, Shuu go to in the bed and sleep.
