The very first lie

The day began like any other day and I did not know what it had in store for me I big delusion

The first reason, for everything, is a person's mind which is filled with different feelings like love, hatred, regret, and greed.

Greed is an emotion in which a person can gain everything and lose everything in a matter of time. With this delusion, I woke up early in the morning, doing all my morning routine I was going to prepare breakfast when I heard a loud knock on my apartment door. It was so loud it made me shiver through my spine.

I peeked through the peeking hole of the door,

A timid figure with a warm simile appeared at the front door. I know this timid person it was my distant relative Mrs Peterson. As soon as recognized this person my mind filled with the question, "Why she is here?"

As per my knowledge, she moved out of the country with her son on the day after my parents' funeral was held with this my emotions flooded with a wavering heart I opened the door for Mrs. Peterson and she looked into my eyes it was clear a pitiful expression.

I know she was kind face lady with a calculating mindset this me an idea of why she is here for

 I welcomed her into my apartment and guided her way to the sofa set as she entered she started inspecting my apartment with her old experienced eyes with curious expressions

As she settled down on the sofa, I brought refreshments for her and sat next sofa.

 I served her tea and she took a sip and fixed her gaze on my ring finger after observing it for two minutes, she started to speak firmly dear child how are u?

Was living alone difficult? As she stressed last with alone like she was already now wanted to make it Clear today so that she make arrangements with her one and only son with me.

The sudden appearance confirms her intention to the news of insurance has been conveyed to her. I know many people come and go they just want insurance money for their interests they think whoever marries me will get the ownership of that money that my parents left for me as a future investment.

As I was lost in my thoughts she tapped on my shoulder with pitiful concerned eyes she made eye contact with me, but her expression was like a greedy person just waiting for the right moment to strike.

"LIA darling I know you suffering alone why don't you share your burden with us, just marry my son I will take care of everything,

After listening to her words my anger reached its peek

 How did she decide without asking me?

She thinks that a pitiful alone girl can reject her intentions but break her dream.

I rejected her by saying," How Aunty? My parents raised me in all tough situations with their teachings made me handle all tough times even if they were not with me their teachings are with me.

So please leave before I lose my temper and disrespect you".

The world is too cruel for orphan children, they don't have any support all they have lies only lies.
