Short Talks Red Moon.

The Red moon had risen upon an unfortunate soul.

The forest was shaking, winds blew as if there was a cyclone. A girl in rags rushes through deep into the woods, she was worried with tension all over. Who was she running from I wonder?

From the clearing of the bushes, she spots a house unaffected, her eyes are heavy just this time with hope, though it will most likely shatter in the next moment.

The girl

" Is anyone here? Let me in! I have come from a war torn place, I wish to seek refugee, I believe someone is following me, would you be so kind? "

Her hands on the surface of the porch outside, she panted in exhaustion but didn't hesitate to continue further.

The girl

" I promise of pay for you deeds in the future! Just for a night, let me in. "

She led her voice with confidence, afterall this was her last chance of escaping.

For a second I look outside in remembrance, there used to be story, I heard, that was similar to this scenario.

Soft melodies of the Kato echoed, enough to reach to the girl's ears.

Her heartbeat started relaxing, I didn't know my performance was such a delight to her.

Lady

" Why should I refuse? You can step forward "

A high pitched voice belonging to that of a lady was heard by the girl. She smiled and entered the house.

She went in, creeps crawled on her skin, the insides gave her a weird feeling. Oh she did not like my design?

Lady

" I'm present in the room that is right of yours, open the door, let us converse for a while "

The girl became hesitant but nonetheless she followed the lady's wish.

The door opened, the girl's eyes were down, why doesn't she want to see me?

The room was was in complete light with no shadows to show how prominent it was, the whole of the red moon, visible through the window.

The girl

"There is nobody here"

A long silence followed.

Lady

"How can't you see me?, but it doesn't matter does it, I have went after you,in search of you, but you kept escaping, now is the time to come back to me now, don't you think?"

There was no physical being there, then why did she see a smile appear?
