THE JOURNEY

It's strange though, at least strange to me. like 3 months ago, everything was going on smoothly, she was alive, not that I lived in that house peacefully, for me there was always trouble, but when anyone will try to pick on me, she would always be there to save me. but now,within hours everything turned around. I see myself walking through the forest nothing in hand, no water,no food. I had embarked on the journey with nothing in hand, only the memory of what my Grandma had once told me, the place where I camefrom. "you came from the forest" she said, "on that day,it rained all afternoon, and by the evening time,thunder began to strike." "but when you look through it " ,she smiled, "you can see light in the darkness". "and on that same day, your mother and I had been in the forest too... to pick up herbs",she would demonstrate, "then we found a baby, crying in a lonely place,... though it didnt look like u had being abandoned there", she wondered." it was more like you had been thrown down there by a god or something.....well kayla? all u need to know is that you are special"she would smile. well to cut my story short, I reached where my grandma told me that I was picked..... nothing had changed though, it still looked like a wrecked place. "a normal place to drop a child", I thought sarcastically. I sat down there thinking of how my life had changed, I might die here, I thought, then I heard a twinkling sound coming from over my head, a branch?, I looked up, it was like a medal, no a locket, I picked it ,opened it. I saw a picture of a woman and a child, tears began to roll down my cheek. "this must be my mother", I said to myself"... my real mother". then how did I get here, what happened. as I continued to examine the locket, I opened another section of the locket and saw a clock, it wasn't ticking though so I began thinking of what to do next with the locket. I moved the hour hand from 12 back to 12 again and the watch began to spin by itself... there was so much light it's almost blinded me. And then before I knew it, I lost consciousness. "Then when I woke back up, that was when I met you guys, staring down my face and pointing Spares at my eyes". I said staring at the two faces in front of me. one with the bluest eyes I had ever seen, like he is angry with the world. though then the second one kept his face like he believed in every single word I had just said, and then the third.... yep, that guy was certainly sleeping. "well now that I've explained my story.... will you let me go?" I pled.

"what year did you say you were from again ?".blue eyes asked.

"before I answer that... you all have to tell me your names".

"oh.how rude of us,... I'm Gold", the believer explained, "and this is Blance" ,pointing at the one with blue eyes, " and the one who you think is sleeping is Bronze...I apologize...,he's consciousness tends to leave him sometimes." he laughed.

" well,its nice to meet you all...my name is Kayla Pandora".

"Kayla....welcome to the Warras19 in the year 4010". Gold shook my hand.

"40...10?". I stuttered

Then bronze yawned" kayla was it?....,I feel like you just schooled us on what normally happens in the 1400s".

" thats what I've been trying to tell you guys,....I am from the 1400s!".

"no kidding" ,blance sighed in disbelief.

" blance....please, she might be telling the truth".gold said trying to encourage me, but i wasn't buying it...the handsome one must think I'm a fool. I thought.

"so what do we do with you now". bronze stood up and started to pace.

" you all could just let me go".

"well, if you are really from the past... u have nowhere to go" ,gold said looking at blance's blank face, as if he was trying to get a response from him." blance what do you think?".he proceeded

" fine, then we will keep you here for further examination, and if you're lying like I know you are... you will be executed as a spy........."

" and if what I say is the truth?" I quickly cut in.

But he said nothing and just left without a word.

"talk about arroga..."before I could finish bronze covered my mouth with his hands.

"woo... wo... wo. watch your words princess!..that guy could change his mind any minute now!".

"but he already left!".

"Still...,he could hear you" gold warned.

"he is the boss!" bronzer explained.

"wow...he is so young", I yawned as exhaustion began to kick in.

"I guess you're tired huh,....well let's get you settled in."

It was as I was being lead to my room that I began to take in my surroundings,and I have to say that it was nothing like I have ever seen before.it was probably way bigger than the whole of townswend. then we entered a big contraption, it was like a rectangular metal box,with a glowing flat surface.

"what is this thing?"

they looked at themselves in awe.

"its....an...umm...elevator" bronze answered,still looking at gold.

"facinating!....,so the 1400s was like the stone age?"gold asked.

"I won't say stone age....but we didn't have anything like this,... so what does it do?"

" well, when you press this button, it takes you up to the level of the building you want or down... it's an easy way of transportation in a building." bronze explained.

"wow. look outside, it's beautiful!!".I squirmed.

" yep.. it never gets old". they laughed.

Then the elevator stop and opened,then they lead me through the corridor and we stopped once they reached an ash door.

" well... here we are,... this is your room." they said.

I looked around it. "I've never seen a room like this before!.... it's beautiful". I thanked them. "but I won't know how to use most of the things here".

"well we have that covered for you,.... Mary come over here..... Kayla this is Mary.... Mary this is Kayla...." Gold introduced.

"nice to meet you Kayla!" she greeted.

"Mary will be your roommate from now on." gold continued.

"we will have tons of fun Kayla!!!", Mary said in excitement.

" well that will be all, we shall see you tomorrow" with that they waved and were off, using the elevator. And then I was alone again, but this time I think I may have made a friend.

"are you feeling psyched Kayla, cuz I am!!!!"
