She understood him because he is indeed tired from the trip but she wasn't just expecting his response to be this.
It was first time for her seeing his boyfriend like that.
Aiden noticed Rose's sudden mood change making him sigh again.

Aiden held her hand and squeezed it, leaning in to kiss the younger's forehead.
Then they made their way to Aiden's car to drive back to their dorm.
Aiden and Rose have been dorm mates ever since high school started.
it's also what started everything between them. However, their high school days are about to end and Rose still doesn't know what the future holds for the both of them.
Aiden said as he let himself flop comfortably on the couch as soon as the two entered their dorm.

He said, his voice getting softer with each word
A small smile curved on Rose's lips as she watch his boyfriend fall asleep slowly.

Rose grabbed a blanket from the room and covered him with it to prevent him from catching any cold.
She dimmed the lights and gave Aiden a kiss on the forehead before making her way to her bed. She took one final glace at him before laying down and shutting her eyes close.

Next day, she woke up, a smile forming on her lips I'm excitement as she thinks of what day it is today.
She immediately got out of the bed and went out of the room, anticipating that Aiden would be in the living room but no, it was empty.
Not even any sound from the shower can be heard. She then noticed a note attached on the fridge.

✉️: I didn't want to wake u up when you were sleeping so soundly. I'll be heading to school first. Oh and don't worry, I'll just be having my breakfast outside as well.
A sigh escaped from Rose's lips. Her mood completely changed, her morning becoming not-so-happy one.
She walked her way towards the calendar attached to the door, putting her forefinger on the encircled date which is today.

She let out another sigh and shook her head.

It's fine! He's probably just tired. I'm sure he'll remember it later!
she said to himself, trying to cheer herself up.
She opened her closet only to take another glance at the hoodie she bought for him, making her lips curve into a smile

Classes were about to end, Rose just kept staring on the date written on the board, hoping that Aiden will soon realize what day it is today.
But no. Classes just ended and no sign of him remembering it. They didn't even had a normal conversation during lunch, Aiden seemed to be quite all day.

She snapped out of her thoughts as she realized Aiden was already standing in front of her.

You're spacing out again. come on, let's go home!
Rose nodded and held his hand as they walk their way back to their dorm.
She kept her silence during their walk, a lot of thoughts going through in her head.
They arrived at the dorm and Aiden did his own thing, putting his airpods on and scrolling through the social media as he sat on the couch.
Rose stood there, staring at him as as tries to prevent herself from being overdramatic.
Rose then decided to take the trash out. she went out of the room and made her way to the garbage room, dumping the trash in there.
She sighed one more time before heading her way back to their dorm. Before She could even open the door, she thought of something.

A smile curved into Rose's lips as she felt the excitement rush through in her.
she turned her back and made her way to the convenience store to buy the two of them some snacks and some beer.
she has always been the simple type of person who doesn't like celebrating luxuriously. after all, rose doesn't have the money to do so.
Aiden is a rich guy, like literal rich guy. regardless of Aiden's richness, Rose treats him like a normal person.
She doesn't ask him for stuffs, she's not materialistic after all. Being with him is enough for Rose.
She payed for the drinks and snacks in the counter before making her way back to the dorm again.
She returned to the building with a smile on her face with so much anticipation. but as she enters the room
A sigh came out of her mouth again, dropping the plastic bag on the table.

Rose didn't wan to overreact, but it pains her to think that her boyfriend actually forgot about today.
She puts the drinks in the fridge and the snacks in the cabinet.
Rose took another glance at Aiden for a while, then she walked towards him, crouching to meet his eye level.
