Ruhaani walked towards the window looking outside. The whole place was covered with flowers and lights
But she was feeling strange pain in her heart.

Ruhaani was called out to the mandap. She sat down while her gaze fixated on the ground. For some reason, She was feeling nervous.
She can hear her cousins talking, laughing, making some mindless jokes and complimenting her. But she can't focus on anything. Her face was covered till her lips from red soft material of lehnga.
When suddenly, her dulha came there.Mayank walked towards her wearing his "sehra". His face was covered just like ruhaani.
Pandit starts chanting some wedding norms and she momentarily started playing with her long heavy dupatta attached to her heavy lehnga with silver work. Why her heart is at ease all of a sudden. She tilt her face to the side where Mayank was sat.
He was sitting still and calm. Almost unaffected by anything around them. For some reason, She is now feeling something different about him.
Soon the pandit asked them to do their sath phere and for that, they stood up rounding around the fire placed in between them.
Later on, they sat back on their respective places near the burning fire. The pandit asked Mayank to put "sindoor" and her mother came slowly removing her long cloth covering her face.
Mayank took the sindoor from the small rounded tray and turn towards her. His hands halted for a few seconds before putting it on her forehead.
Her hold on her lehnga tightened. She looked at him. His face was covered with "sehra" but she can clearly feel his gaze on her. He was profoundly sensitive, his touch was soft and warm just like his hand which make her body numb.
