CHAPTER 2
After another two hours of searching.
They found my brother's body. It was in quite bad shape. The fight looked intense.
Daniel
(Inspectors came and offered me water, but my throat was in my mouth.)
Daniel
(I felt like puking and wished that I was living a bad dream and none of these were true.)
Daniel
*Sitting in the police car when I saw someone in the hood standing in the crowd.*
Daniel
(I stood and walked to the crowd to see who that was. By the time I arrived, there were only those policemen and their team collecting evidence.)
Liam ( inspector )
Let's get you back home. We'll send the body for an autopsy.
Liam went over to his men indicating them to cover the body in the cadaver pouch.
Daniel
Can I just have the body as it is?
Liam ( inspector )
Of course, after cleaning and in a good state.
Daniel
Well being twins --
Daniel
My brother wouldn't want anything more happening to his body after all these....
Daniel
It is saddening how all these happened and now more...
Liam ( inspector )
Alright, I'll ask them to hand it over to you after the cleaning is done.
* nodded*

It was a long day. Daniel was sent back home, cooked himself an oatmeal which he tossed away.
He then went upstairs to his room and sat on the bed looking at the wall blankly.
His eyes fell on the table on which a diary was kept. He looked at it. Didn't seem like his. He opened the first page and saw it directed to him.
Daniel
*Looking at the diary*

( I will read it later.)
* kept it back on the table*

Aaron shut your mouth for your good.
Aaron
Why the sudden love?
Daniel

* rolled my eyes at him*
Daniel
(I didn't feel like coming to college for the time being, it was a hassle honestly.)
Daniel
(I started skipping classes.)
They sent James's body in two days and the funeral was held.
The neighbours and some friends had come.
James, talking about him, was a sweet cheerful boy.
