Chapter 1 - "Who Are You?"

...Hospital...

For how long, it seems like about 2 months, I keep dreaming about an old empty house. Actually, is there something about that house, is it part of my childhood.

But unfortunately I don't remember anything about my childhood because I once had a high fever that was so severe that it made me lose my memories.

"Well the next patient is Esther Lu!" called a nurse.

"Alright, so your name is Esther Lu, Miss Lu, have you been having a busy schedule lately?" ask the doctor named Jake Yang

"Yes, I don't have a busy schedule recently or in the past few months!" said Esther Lu

"So what did you experience, why did you come to a psychiatrist?" ask Jake Yang

"I see, two months ago I started dreaming about a big old house, every week I dreamed that I was playing with a teenage girl in a swimming pool in that house!" said Esther Lu to Jake Yang

"Do you remember anything about your childhood?" ask Jake Yang

"I don't remember anything about my childhood, because I had a high fever which made me lose my memory!" said Esther Lu

After several hours in the room, Esther Lu finally came out of the room, the doctor suggested that she return home and try to find out something about her past.

After she returned home she then asked her mother if she still had her childhood photos, at that time her mother was shocked and tried to change the topic.

"Photos from your childhood, why do you want to see your past, it's not important to remember the past, Now it's better for you to just live your life!" said the mother

"You don't need to remember the past, just live in the present!" said the mother

"But, I'm curious, who knows, maybe it could bring back my past?" said Esther Lu

"Oh yeah, mom forgot Roy will come to pick you up tonight, he said he would take you for a walk tonight!" said the mother

"Really, but why didn't he tell me that, why did he tell mother?" ask Esther Lu

"Mom doesn't know that either, it's better to go prepared, mom forgot to ask him when he will pick you up!" said the mother

"Oh, I've resolved the company problem. When father comes home tomorrow, mother will tell him about the file that I put on his reading room table!" said Esther Lu then walk to upstairs

When she went upstairs she immediately entered her room and looked for something related to her childhood, but she didn't find anything.

Suddenly her cellphone rang, it turned out to be a call from Roy, her fiancé. At that moment she realized because Roy must know something about her childhood, so she decided to ask Roy something about herself.

"I've been waiting for you downstairs, you're upstairs, right?" ask Roy

"Yeah, I'll be down in a minute, give me a minute!" said Esther Lu

"That's really fast, now where are we going?" ask Esther Lu to Roy, while hanging up the phone

Even though she had forgotten why she was engaged to Roy, it had been seven years, so she had feelings for him again.

They have been dating since they were high schooler, and five months ago they got engaged.

"Let's go to the park near here and see the beautiful sea view and the bright moon tonight!" said Roy to Esther Lu

"Roy, there is something I want to ask you, what kind of person do you think when we first met?" ask Esther Lu

"The moment before I entered the hospital!" said Esther Lu
