Xiao Xing’s POV

I look up and see two similar looking boys.

“Hi! I’m Logan!” The first boy says.

His shiny black hair was in curls and he had a gray beanie on. He also had on black glasses.

“And I’m Liam!” His hair was spiked up.

Logan’s eyes were a darker brown while Liam’s eyes were a lighter brown.

“Sure! Thanks! I’m Xiao Xing!”

They help me pick up all the papers and put them back in my binder.

“You two are brothers, right?” I ask.

“Twins to be exact.” Logan nods.

“I’m the sporty twin, and he’s the nerdy one,” Liam chuckles.

“Are you from around here? I’ve never seen you two!”

“We’re mostly home schooled. We go to an actual school one day a week but it’s 30 minutes away from here.” Logan explains.

“Oh, that’s-”

My phone starts to ring.

“Hello?”

“Xiao Xing! Where are you?! Are you okay? Should I-”

“I’m fine, Wang Yuan! I’ll be home in a few minutes.”

“Fine. But if you’re not home in a few minutes then I’ll-”

I hang up.

“Is that your boyfriend?” Liam chuckles.

“No. My brother.” I roll my eyes.

“Hey, let’s exchange numbers! Maybe we can hang out sometime!” Logan gives me a charming smile.

“Yeah, sure!”

Wang Junkai’s POV

“Relax, Wang Yuan! She probably just stopped at a store along the way or something!” Mei Lin assures.

The doorbell rings.

“See? That’s probably her!” Mei Lin says and opens the door.

Xiao Xing comes in.

“Where were you?! I was worried sick!” Wang Yuan exclaims.

“Sorry! Nothing happened. I just ran into Brittney and I stopped for a little while because I dropped my binder again.” She shrugs in response.

I see Xiao Xing whisper something to Mei Lin.

Xiao Xing’s POV

“Let’s go to my room. I want to tell you something.” I whisper to Mei Lin.

She nods and follows me to my room.

“Did you really drop your binder?” She asks.

“Yeah. And the cutest guys helped me! They were twins and they were adorable!” I gush.

“Really? What did they look like?” Mei Lin asks.

I tell her about them.

“They do sound cute! But I’m still shipping you and Xiao Kai!” Mei Lin giggles.

“Of course you are.” I roll my eyes and she leaves my room.

I open my binder and try to find my homework.

‘Ugh! I forgot it!’ I thought, separating all my papers.

Ding!

My phone.

‘Hey! It’s Logan! Just want to let you know that I have one of your papers! The wind must have blew it away because when Liam and I were heading home, it was on the ground!’ The text read.

‘Thanks! I was just looking for that! It’s my homework!’

‘Can we come over and give it back?’

‘Sure! My address is *******’

‘Ok! We’re on our way!’
