Chapter 2 {Two years later}

Two years later Shuqin City

A tall handsome young man was staring at an old man who waved his finger at a seventeen year old guy who rushed forward and held out his palm but the old man grinned as he waved his dagger and brought it closer to the young man who dropped on his knee.

"Shen Ling you are truly talented."

"Thank you Master Hai."

"Of course your Senior Sister has something for you," Master Hai said.

"Master two years ago I saved her life but she still hates me."

"Boy if she hated you she would of not asked me to take you as my disciple she sees you and the true you, you are right she is indifferent toward the world and has never showed any kindness but she at list cares enough to gave you a gift," Master Hai said.

Shen Ling rubbed his neck he looked around for his senior sister he remembers when he first came here he truly thought that Master Hai would kick him out but he started training his old wounds were healed and he started to train in martial arts like before even though his elixir core was destroyed he didn't feel sad maybe this was meant to be. As Shen Ling walked up the hell of the mountain he took a deep breath and he stared down at Shuqin City.

A beautiful figure had unknowingly appeared under one of the giant trees to his front.

At closer inspection, it was a girl in red. The girl’s body was slender and she was currently leaning with her back against the tree trunk as a pair of bright eyes calmly observed him.

When Shen Ling’s gaze met her own, an indescribable feeling of numbness spread across his scalp.

However, Shen Ling’s mental resilience was after all pretty good, and he very quickly calmed himself. A smile immediately emerged on his immature face, trying his best to appear harmless, as he cupped his fists together.

"Big Sis Master Hai said that you have something for me," Shen Ling said he has always felt his senior sister wasn't truly meant for this world she has always been calm and she fought anything that came her way the first time they meant she almost killed him three times until he was able to get through her thick head. The girl before his eyes looked to be of similar age to himself. However, a little politeness at such a time was never a bad thing.

However, the mysterious girl in red did not seem to take any notice of Shen Ling’s respectful mannerisms. Her slim and fair hand pulled back a strand of black hair in front of her forehead, before she walked towards Shen Ling.

When she walked out of the shade, light immediately sprinkled down on her body. As she approached, Shen Ling was finally able to clearly see her, and a look of amazement involuntarily flitted across his eyes. The girl had snow-white skin. Her fine golden hair was lightly bundled up, while her simple red clothes outlined her wonderful curves. She had a very exquisite set of facial features. What made so special was her beautiful dark golden eyes seemed to contain a certain aura of mysteriousness, causing them to appear both unpredictable and distant.

At this very moment, the girl seemed to tread on shards of sunlight against the backdrop of towering ancient trees. A gentle breeze blew past and lifted her fringe, allowing one to catch a glimpse of an extremely ancient rune between her brows, a sight that gave off an aura of indescribable mysteriousness. This scene was so beautiful that it made Shen Ling breathless for a moment.

"Big Sis?"

"Big sis, humph here is my birthday gift to you," she mattered as she sat back down on a rock and she went to staring at the sky.

"What is it?"

"Your elixir core was destroyed by your ex lover, your friends didn't bother trusting you and your senior brother was the one who destroyed it am I right?"

"You don't have to rub it in Big Sis Xiang Yaoyao."

"Shut up," Xiang Yaoyao said indifferent tone and she crossed her legs and waved her long slender fingers.

Shen Ling appeared in front of her and he stared straight at the flaming fire it felt so hot.

"What is this?"

"Dragon Fire Breath if you are able to handle this amount of heat your enter body would be healed and then after that use this crystal fairy tear your body will be reborn."

"Are you saying it will fix my elixir?"

"It won't just fix it silly junior brother it will make even stronger then before after you are done tomorrow I will tell you about your coffin."

"Mmm alright thank you Big Sis Xiang Yaoyao," Shen Ling said as he rushed to hug her but she shot him a cold glare and he froze in place. This girl is truly something else.

“Tun Tun, time to go home."

A small golden brown creature walked out from the giant tree and glared at Shen Ling both of them seemed to have beef with one another even Xiang Yaoyao never paid attention to them seemed to see this she let out a deep sigh. The small creature let a barking noise and Shen Ling crossed his arms.

"Tun Tun, you can't scared me nice try."

As if it had heard Shen Ling’s mumbling, the small creature’s hair immediately bristled and it started to bark at him. However, because its body was too small, the barks from it lacked any destructive power and instead made it appear rather cute.

The small creature seemed to have realized that its barking had not intimidated Zhou Yuan. Its tail stood straight up as it jumped in front of a boulder, before opening its mouth and taking a vicious bite.

Crunch crunch!

As it continued to chomp down in this manner, one could only watch as the boulder rapidly shrank at an alarming speed. In the short span of several breaths, the boulder had completely disappeared. All of the hard pieces of rock had been swallowed into the little creature’s tiny stomach.

"Shit."

BARP.

The expression on Shen Ling’s face turned rigid as he secretly gasped. He was a little dumbstruck as he stared at the little dog-like creature. What exactly was this thing? To think that such a huge boulder would be devoured in a few bites.

What strong teeth and healthy appetite!

Shen Ling wiped away the cold sweat on his head and no longer dared to look at this seemingly plain little beast. The latter’s teeth had been able to easily chew threw rock, what hope could his frail body have against it?

"I don't understand why you two have to always fight, and Shen Ling Tun Tun isn't weak his way stronger then you," Xiang Yaoyao said in a cold manner and picked up Tun Tun and threw him inside a water tub which he shook his small body and he started washing himself. Even though Shen Ling has been living with them for the past two years he feels like he doesn't know anything about Xiang Yaoyao they are times she disappears for three months and she comes back deeply wounded each time Shen Ling has always been there to help her but he sometimes wishes that he could fight along side him but he knows right now his two weak Xiang Yaoyao martial art rank is a nine as for himself after two years he finally was able to make a breakthrough to six where he was six years ago.
