This my story that I started writing in Wattpad first. but I took it down and decided to upload it here. I might repost on Wattpad later.
Anyways, thank you in advance for giving this book a chance. I'm not overly experienced writing, but I'll do my best to edit and write properly.

Making a cherry pie can be a delicious and rewarding experience. Here's a basic recipe to guide you:
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of fresh or frozen cherries, pitted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
- 2 prepared pie crusts (one for the bottom and one for the top)
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Additional sugar for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large bowl, combine the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and almond extract (if using). Stir until the cherries are well coated. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes to allow the cherries to release their juices.
Roll out one of the pie crusts and place it into a 9-inch pie dish, trimming any excess dough from the edges.
Pour the cherry mixture into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly. Dot the top of the cherries with the small pieces of butter.
Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the cherry filling. You can either cover the pie completely or create a lattice pattern with the dough strips.
Trim and crimp the edges of the pie crust to seal the pie.
Brush the top crust with the beaten egg, and if desired, sprinkle some sugar on top for added sweetness and a golden crust.
Place the pie on a baking sheet (to catch any drips) and bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. If the crust begins to brown too quickly, you can cover it with aluminum foil.
Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least a couple of hours before serving. This will allow the filling to set.
Serve the cherry pie on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
