Chapter 1

Third Person POV:At the age of 23, Cain possessed an innocence that seemed incongruous with his alpha status in a world where secondary gender held paramount importance. While being an alpha had shielded him from the trials and tribulations endured by many omegas, Cain's life had been relatively uncomplicated. Yet, beneath his sheltered facade, there simmered an insatiable curiosity. He longed to venture into the murky depths of his crime-ridden town, despite his 

unfamiliarity with its treacherous streets.

Cain POV:

Now I see why my dad didn't let me go out before. Well, partially, it is my fault since I lost my way, and no one wants to help me. Is it because I'm too tall? I'm just 6'4; it's not that tall."I just need some help," I muttered to myself because I needed to get home before Dad got worried. I looked at the alley and saw a group of people laughing. So this was perfect; I found some people who were taller than me, so I could get help.I walked over and stepped on burnt-out cigarettes and trash, about to speak, but my throat clogged up, and my ears widened on hearing the painful screams in the alley. I ran and hid behind a big dumpster, peaking out to watch the people around a man who had pulled out guns 

and were pointing them in his face.

"Why did you betray the boss?" says one of the tall guards."I s-s-sorry that-they came after my family i-i-i had to," He says while stuttering after every word.

BANG.

That's all I hear. My hands are trembling and shaking so hard my breaths become uneven. I need to go home, but I can't leave. What will happen if he sees me? Am I next?

I feel my blood rushing through my veins, and out of nowhere, I smell the most intoxicating scent of my life. I peak out; it's this 6'6-foot guy in a black suit standing over me, releasing waves of his seductive pheromones. I see all the guys, well, some of them start swaying where they stand, intoxicated by the scent. My body didn't listen to me, and it started releasing some of my own.

"Oops," I say while covering my mouth. So I looked back out to see if they noticed, and I saw the very tall guy making eye contact with me. His iris is a dark, smoldering crimson, and his pupils turn into enticing slits. I hear my alpha.

"Release it... pheromones... let him bask in your desire," he whispers in my mind. But I can't resist. He will find me. As I talk in my head, I see the guy's footsteps getting closer and closer to me, and then silence. I think to myself, thank the moon that they left, so I get up and start 

walking. They left, but I heard growling. But before I can turn back,

"MINE," the guy jumps on me, pushing me to the floor, pinning me beneath him.I punch him as hard as I can, but he takes my hand and puts it above my head, his strong grip sending shivers of arousal through me.

"Please let me go," I plead, my voice a sultry, whispered plea, as tears threaten to spill from my smoldering eyes.

"YOU'RE MINE, OMEGA," He says, his lips grazing my neck, his hot breath igniting a fire within me.

"But I'm an alpha," I gasp, the tension between us thick with desire.

The mysterious man stands up and pulls me to my feet, his touch electrifying. He drags me to the waiting limousine, throwing me inside, our eyes locked in a magnetic pull that neither of us can resist.

"You're an alpha?" he murmurs, his voice a seductive purr, a hint of amusement in his blood-red eyes. His fingers brush gently across my jawline, setting my skin ablaze with a feverish heat.

I swallow hard, trying to regain my composure, but his nearness is overwhelming. "Yes," I manage to reply, my voice now a sultry rasp. My body betrays me as a flush of desire surges through me, an instinctive response to his potent presence.

He leans in, his lips grazing my earlobe, sending shivers down my spine. "Alpha, omega, it doesn't matter," he whispers, his breath sending tingles of pleasure through me. "In this moment, you're mine."

The mysterious man stood up, towering over me, and with a firm grip, he pulled me to my feet, his touch sending electric jolts through my trembling body. He began to drag me toward a waiting, pitch-black limousine, the aura of menace and the palpable sense of impending doom intensifying. He roughly threw me inside, our eyes locked in a magnetic pull that neither of us could resist. The limousine door slammed shut behind me, sealing my fate in this twisted and horrifying encounter.
