Possibly Matthew doesn't like much people and literally he wants no people at his house at all, he doesn't even wants a house keeper and he lives alone in a big mansion. Only person he allows in his house is his assistant and the butler he had for years who is now on holiday for some reason since 2 weeks, so Benjamin his assistant is the one doing everything for him for now.
