"I want to see where it could go too, Ryan," Alex admitted, his voice soft but resolute. "But I've never been in a relationship before, and I'm scared."

Ryan's thumb traced circles on the back of Alex's hand, his gaze never leaving Alex's eyes. "Alex, I won't lie and say it'll be easy. But we'll figure it out together. We'll navigate this journey one step at a time."

Tears welled up in Alex's eyes, and he nodded, feeling a mixture of vulnerability and hope.
