The need to see Jin and tell him about the pregnancy despite the danger awaiting him. If Taehyung was there, that would make things even more difficult.

As he stepped inside the base, an eerie feeling washed over him. The air felt thick, and his whole body stiffened. He was walking into the lion's den, and he knew it, but he had no other choice. Jin needed to know about the baby, whether he wanted to accept it or not. He didn't want to just hide the fact about the child and walk away from his past and the future.

Eun Woo didn't know where Jungkook was going. Jungkook had just mentioned he needed some fresh air and left it at that. As Jungkook walked inside, he noticed that none of the guards acknowledged him. They knew he had betrayed Namjoon by spying for the team, and now they ignored him with cold indifference. He expected that. He should have gone to Jin's apartment rather than coming here. But it's late to regret.

When Jungkook reached Jin's cabin, he was greeted by Taehyung's icy stare. Taehyung's small, dirty smirk told Kook everything he needed to know—he had walked right into a trap. Panic surged through him, and he turned to leave, but it was too late.




