Chapter 3: Talk of the School and Ayame in Action

*ring* *ring*

The sound of the bell erupted and it filled the entire school, making sure that the sound will reach the people's ears.

Most of the morning classes was over and it is now lunch time. The twins were heading towards the cafeteria, both of them were each handed a map of the school to guide them on where to go.

Luckily for them, they have managed to arrive at the cafeteria with ease. The whole place was bustling with people and it was very crowded.

When they walked inside, the whole place went quiet. All of the people that were in the cafeteria stared at the two and some even whispered with each other about something.

It seems that they have gained a lot of attention from the students. It is not just their looks that gained their attention, it was also the aura that was surrounding them. They both hold a supreme aura that draws people's attention. It was so alluring that almost no person could ignore such aura that the twins possess.

Well, it was expected of those two as they were the children of two rulers of a powerful vampire kingdom.

Just like before, they all ignored their stares and whispers. It doesn't really matter to them if they have gained a lot of attention, they already got used to it so it ain't really a big deal for them. Moreover, they are pretty aware that they are now the official "Talk of the School".

They could also recall that this exact scene also happened when they attended they're first class of their first day at a new school.

"Alright class! Settle down now!"

The teacher exclaimed and all of the students picked their seats and sat at their chosen chair.

The teacher looked to be in his thirties and he wore a pair of glasses, a polo shirt and some pants.

"Now as you may have already heard, there are new students that have transferred in this school. Can you please introduce yourselves?"

Asked the teacher and gestured them to come in front of the whole class so they could introduce themselves.

The class directed their attention at the two siblings that were silently standing in the doorway.

Most of the people in the class have a dumbstruck expressions on their faces as they all saw two good-looking figures standing near the door.

Both the twins walked towards in front of the whole class and they started with their introductions just like they were told.

"I am Akito Von Roquezech, I am half Japanese half European. It is nice meeting you all!"

Akito said with a bright smile. With that beautiful dazzling smile that he has, it was almost blinding that it made most of the people of the class to look away from the dazzling yet blinding light that came from that bright boy.

After the introduction from Akito, the whole class directed their attention towards Ayame that was just standing there silently without a single expression on her face.

"I am Ayame Ena Roquezech. Also half Japanese half European. Twin sister of Akito. That is all."

Ayame said with a blank expression.

The whole class went under silent mode since they were all speechless but they were almost a million thoughts erupted their minds.

'Are they really humans? They both looked like gods and goddesses from those myths!'

'Kyaaa..! They are both so beautiful and handsome! How envious..'

'Are they really twins? I am seeing both winter and spring in here.'

'Woah..talk about poles apart. They both look alike but act so differently.'

Most of those thoughts were in the minds of those students. Their thoughts were either about their looks or how different their personalities were despite being twins.

And after that, the two siblings were instructed to sit down and they both obliged.

They sat down at their chosen seats. Ayame sitting in the back near the window and Akito sitting next to her.

Class had finally started but the eyes of their classmates were still directed towards them from time to time. They couldn't help but stare at the two good-looking figures as their supreme aura lure them in.

And here they are, still experiencing the same thing as before but they still chose to ignore them all.

They both got in line to get some food. As soon as they finally got what they needed, they got out from the cafeteria and they decided to eat their lunch someplace else.

As soon as the siblings exited the cafeteria, the entire place was in utter chaos. The entire cafeteria was bustling again but it was in another level, it gotten noisier than before. A lot of them were gossiping about the twins, a lot were admiring their looks and so on.

Again, it was an utter chaos in there that it's even impossible to even focus in eating.

On the other hand, the twins looked around and finally found a perfect place to sit down and eat. They found a field that was used for mostly P.E.

They went into the field and found a tree nearby and they sat under it, the shade under the tree cool them off as wind also passes by, causing their hair to dance through the soft caress of the wind.

"Hey, maybe let's feed later since there's a forest nearby."

Akito said, breaking the silence between them. Akito didn't received any words from his twin sister but she only gave a simple nod as a reply.

What Akito meant is that they are going to hunt for animals later since they need blood to feed and human food will not be enough for them.

There were rules that vampires are no longer allowed to kill or feed from any humans. This rule was followed and obeyed for hundreds of years. That must be why humans nowadays don't really believe in vampires anymore since they thought it was just some myth.

The twins' family only feed in animals' blood and also blood that they usually buy from blood banks.

Akito looked at her sister and looked at the field. Akito really wanted his sister to talk to him but his sister wouldn't even budge.

He can't help but sigh. He felt like he has a long way to go and he is still far away from the destined finish line.

School was already over and a lot of students were scurrying in the hall, eager to go back home.

The twins were already in the hallway as well. They were both heading towards the exit.

As they reached the exit, both of them found a bunch of girls on the way.

When the girls noticed the two, all of the girls gazed at Akito. They were all looking at him with hungry eyes, as if they wanted to eat him whole.

Akito frowned at this, this girls might be what you call "sl*ts" and he doesn't like those type of girls since they are the type to cling onto good-looking men just to satisfy their needs.

Akito furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the girls with utmost disgust. He ain't gonna waste his time on this girls so he just walked pass them while gently grabbing his sister's hand.

"Hey handsome, I'm Sophie. Want to have some fun?\~"

The girl whose name is Sophie said and purred. She grabbed his hand in attempt to gain his attention and for him to notice her.

Akito turned back and his gaze hooked on a short blonde girl. Her face is covered with makeup and she looks absolutely ridiculous. She looks more like a cake than a girl wearing makeup.

Akito was about to talk back when he was cut off by his sister.

"He isn't interested in hooking up with you."

Ayame said coldly. She was still wearing her usual poker face as her cold eyes looked at the blonde girl in front of them.

"I'm not talking to you b****!"

Somehow, Sophie was irritated by the words of the girl that was right next to her target.

"Isn't it obvious just by looking at his face? Are you that blind or just dumb?"

Ayame said, ignoring her last comment. She was mocking her and Sophie didn't like it one bit. Her rage level was raised to a maximum.

"Who do you think you are!?"

Sophie shouted at Ayame, she was glaring at her but Ayame just ignored it.

"Tsk Tsk, such a short-tempered girl. Such a shame. Girls like you these days lost their self-respect. Aren't I right?"

Ayame stated while clicking her tongue. Her tone was laced in fake disappointment.

"Oh and by the way, I am his twin sister. And I am very sure he isn't interested in hanging out with sl*ts like you."

Ayame also added, answering her previous answer.

"Who are you calling sl*t!?"

Sophie was attempting to slap her but was stopped when Ayame grabbed her wrist and held it harshly.

"You."

Ayame stated calmly. There wasn't even a single expression on her face but her voice was laced with mockery, mocking her very existence.

"Please refrain from touching me. I do not like dirty hands touching my face."

Ayame added and mocked her yet she still has her usual poker face.

"You..!"

"Rest assured. I will sanitize my hands after this is all over."

Ayame said, planting another verbal attack on her and it worked. Sophie was triggered to the core and she was already gnashing her teeth in anger.

They heard laughter from the background and they noticed that a group of people were already watching this very entertaining scene even though school has already ended.

Ayame let go of Sophie's hand, leaving a bruise on her wrist.

Sophie didn't looked at the figure in front of her and she just looked down. She was gnashing her teeth in rage because she haven't experienced this humiliation in all her life! And this damnable person was the first one to do so!

Ayame raised an eyebrow and she lifted Sophie's face towards her by lifting her chin upwards.

Sophie was shorter than her, she has to lift her head up so she could look at her in the eyes.

A cold dangerous glint appeared in her eyes. Her eyes glowed dangerously as her emerald green orbs stared her down coldly.

Sophie couldn't help but shiver in fear. Somehow, her eyes was making her knees tremble in fright. And she shivered nonstop, as if winter arrived earlier than expected.

"Please don't dare appear before me and my brother again. If you do...lets just say..the consequences won't be pretty."

Another cold yet dangerous glint flashed in her jewel-like eyes. She wants nothing more than for her to stay away from her and her brother. She wants to obliterate her every enemy she gets on the way as soon as possible so it won't be troublesome in the future.

Her tone was very cold, and it made Sophie shiver even more. She felt suffocated in those eyes of hers and it feels like she couldn't breathe just by looking at her cold sophisticated eyes.

Ayame smirked inwardly, she let go of Sophie's chin and turned her back on her, leaving the place as if nothing had happened.

"Let's go.."

Ayame said to Akito, and he obliged and obediently followed her.

Akito was just watching from the sideline. He knows that her sister doesn't like any untrustworthy and useless people getting near him but he thinks that she was going a bit overboard yet she still enjoys it.

Akito sighed helplessly. Yes, her sister is older than him but they were only 3 minutes apart. Her sister was still overprotective as before but he was still glad that not every part of her was gone.

Well, on the other party, it seems that the feeling was the exact opposite from the other one.

Sophie's body shook gently, shivering as if she was experiencing a huge trauma. Her knees finally lost the the last bit of ounce of strength and she kneeled on the floor. Her face was pale, her lips quivered and her eyes was still filled with fear.

She couldn't stand up so she was helped by her friends that was just in the background. Her friends was too scared to help her so Sophie was the only one who suffered from that cold person.

And with that, Sophie could only wish to never see that person and never went through that exact same experience ever again.
