The next day Kay woke up early and dressed in her workout clothes.

Kay

I'll have to get used to the neighborhood so I might as well go for a run.

Kay

Anyway I need to blow off some steam before facing everyone. 'why did it have to be me ?'

After her run she walked back into the house and went straight to the kitchen.

While she was drinking water a man came up behind her

Kian

What are you doing?

She turned around, shocked that she didn't hear anyone come in. When her eyes landed on him she froze...

Kay

'how can anyone be so handsome? '

Kian

I'll ask again, what are you doing?

Kay

Oh... Um... I was just drinking water

She felt like she would suffocate under his intimidating glare.

Just then her mother-in-law walked in.

Mrs Davis

Oh good morning dear, did you sleep well?

Kay

Good morning, I slept very well thank you.

Kian

Aunt Mina

Mrs Davis

Oh, hi Kian. How are you today?

Kian

I'm fine.

He turned his attention back to the beautiful girl in front of him.

Mrs Davis

Oh this is Kay, she's your fiancé.

Kay's eyes went wide as realised who he was.

Kay

Uhm... I'm I'll go and get changed...

She ran out of the kitchen before anyone could answer.

Mrs Davis

*chuckles*

Kian

I'm going to the company, I'll be back in time for lunch.

He kissed her cheek and walked oit whistling. The image of certain pair of wide eyes in his mind.
