during promotions

This chapter is only a recap of the promotions for I NEED U and Dope so it will probably be boring but I'd appreciate it very much if you read it till the end^^

During the promotions for I NEED U, the JiKook couple became closer and happier. Everytime they had some time alone, they would spend it together, kissing and cuddling. Of course, they shouldn't make it obvious in front of the cameras but it was harder for Jungkook than for Jimin. Everyone was used to Jimin showing affection to Jungkook but not the other way around. Even if they knew that Jungkook didn't hate Jimin, it was weird if he "suddenly" decided to be affectionate with him. Jungkook really wanted to be close to Jimin but he couldn't in front of cameras. Even during interviews, he wasn't next to his boyfriend so all he could do was stare at him, smile to his jokes or his laugh. Jungkook loved Jimin's laugh. From the soft giggle to the hysterical laugh. But the most difficult thing to do was to not look at him during performances. Everytime his eyes caught a part of Jimin, he just wanted to smile. So, one evening, after their performance, Jimin went to Jungkook. They were some staffs around them so they had to whisper.

"Kookie, you okay ?"

"Yes hyung, why ?"

"Because you didn't look look at me when we were performing. I kept searching for your eyes but they didn't met mine" he pouted.

"I know hyung. I didn't want them to" replied Jungkook. Jimin was offended but he waited for an explanation. "I didn't want to meet your eyes because since it's a sad song, I mustn't smile but when I see you, I just feel so happy, I can't help but smile. Sorry if I hurt you hyung." Jungkook let his head fall down feeling guilty because he knew that Jimin was sensitive, even to small things like that.

Jimin smiled and lifted his boyfriend's head up.

"It's okay Kookie. I knew there was a reason for you to act like that." He was going to take his hand but stopped himself just in time when a staff was passing by. Jungkook chuckled and said

"Maybe we should end this talk at home." Jimin smiled to him as an answer.

The rest of the promotions went alright and they won a total of 5 trophies at music shows.

After about one week of rest, the day before their first stage with 쩔어 (Dope), Jimin wanted to change his hair color. Since Yoongi had blonde hair, he decided to go with red. He found blonde hair really sexy so he wanted to surpass it. When he came back home with red hair, everyone was astonished.

"As if you weren't sexy enough like that, you had to go with red hair... Where is Jungkook ? He must see that." said Yoongi with a sigh.

"Well done, Chim ! Jungkook'll have a heart attack when he sees you." said Taehyung, laughing.

"He is in the bathroom taking a shower. You can wait for him here-" Before Jin finished his sentence, Jimin flew to his shared room with Jungkook. He lied on their bed and waited. Unknowingly, he fell asleep. When he woke up, he was feeling someone next to him, playing with his hair.

"Wake up babe~" said Jungkook.

"Yo~ You like my hair ?" asked Jimin.

"I love it. Red is my favorite color. You've done this on purpose ?" laughed Jungkook.

"I just wanted to be sexier than Yoongi."

"You're already sexier than Yoongi, hyung." Jungkook kissed him. Jimin pulled out and said.

"This is a new one"

"What ?"

"You say that I'm sexy and you call me "babe". Not that I dislike it." Jimin said, smiling.

"But you're so obvious" stated Jungkook.

"About what ?"

"Red is my favorite color, everyone knows that. The fans will become suspicious."

"No problem Kook. They already know that I can't do without you. They just don't know that you feel the same way." Jungkook opened his mouth to say something but Jimin cut him. "The same goes with the company and the staffs. Don't worry babe." Unlike Jimin, Jungkook blushed at the nickname.

"I love you hyung"

"Love you too Jungkookie."

So JiKook was happy. And the members were happy for them. Everyone was happy but one person. V was feeling jealous. Jimin was his bestfriend and he felt like Jungkook stole him. He began to be more and more jealous as time was passing by and he became afraid that maybe he has fallen in love with his bestfriend. So one night, after their last 쩔어 performance, as he was seating with Jimin in the practice room, eating snacks, he wanted to be sure of it. So he began

"Chim-chim. I have to tell you something."

"What is it Tae ?" Taehyung was feeling extremely uneasy.

"It must sound weird to you but I feel jealous about all the time you spend with Jungkook." Jimin looked at him and smiled.

"Well... I think I neglected you lately. I'm sorry but you know how long I waited for this, to be happy with Jungkook."

"I know, but I feel so jealous. More than what a friend should feel". Taehyung began to close the distance between Jimin and him. Jimin began to panick and said "Tae ? What are you doing ?" but V didn't listen and kissed him.

Jimin stood there, absolutely shocked. Then, he saw Jungkook, standing in the door frame, looking at him, with anger and betrayal in his eyes.

Jimin pushed Taehyung away and stood up. At the same time, Jungkook turned around and went out of the building. Jimin caught him and began

"J-Jungkook... Jungkook"

"WHAT?!" he shouted.

"Let me explain, that's not what you think..."

"Oh, really ? I f*cking saw you kiss V hyung in front of me ! Am I wrong ?" Jungkook was crying.

Even though he knew he wasn't waiting for an answer, Jimin said

"N-no but-" he began crying too.

"So there's nothing to explain." Jungkook cut him.

He freed himself from Jimin's grip, turned around and began running away from Jimin, wiping is tears with the back of his hand.

Jimin saw him cross the road, a car coming fast and heard a loud thud. A second later, Jungkook's body was on the ground, a lot of blood coming out of his head. Jimin ran to him, crying hard and, hands trembling, he dialed the 119. 10 minutes later, he was in the ambulance, sobbing, with Jungkook's hand pressed in his own. He called the members to tell them to meet him at the hospital and that he would explain everything to them later.
