misunderstanding

Jungkook POV

When Jimin got out of the room, Jin and Namjoon hyung came to me, confused.

"What happened Kookie ?" asked Jin hyung.

"I... Jimin h-hyung..." I felt tears welling up in my eyes and my throat going dry.

"What ? Did you confess ?" said Namjoon hyung.

"I-I was about t-to... B-but..." I began to cry. "He c-cut me and asked if she was c-cute !" I was sobbing so much, my body was shuddering furiously as I was in Jin hyung's arms. He was hugging me tightly. I heard him saying to Namjoon "Go check on Jimin and tell the others to get in the car. We'll follow a bit after." I heard Namjoon's steps going away from us and his voice saying "In the car members !" and seconds after, the door closed.

"J-Jungkook-ah..." said Jin Hyung, his voice shaking. He pulled away. I looked at him and said

"He c-can't imagine me but with a g-girl, hyung. What do I d-do now ?"

"Maybe... you have to let time pass. Wait a bit so that you can both calm down. I'm sure that he was affected as much as you were. Let's go now."

He took my hand and led me out of the building to the car. I saw that neither Namjoon hyung or Jimin hyung were in already and I worried a bit until I saw them coming out of the building as well. Jimin came to sit by my side but he didn't say a word and looked blankly out the window. I heard him sniff softly and he looked at me. He had red and swollen eyes. He cried.I felt guilty and looked away to let my tears fall silently.

Jimin POV

I got out of the room, holding my breath back. I was afraid that if I breathed, I would cry till I couldn't anymore, till I die of sadness and pain maybe. But I couldn't help it and began to cry incontrollably. I entered the bathroom and bent over the sink, looking at my reflection in the mirror. I looked so pitiful.

"This is what happens when you're a coward. Congratulations Park Jimin." Great. I talk to myself now.

I kept crying while the scene was replaying over and over in my head and everytime, the words were echoing louder in my ears and my heart. I may have cried for a couple of minutes because finally, Namjoon hyung came, telling me that the others were in the car, waiting for me to come. He took me in his arms and said

"Right Jimin-ah... Let it all out... Don't worry, it'll be alright." I broke his embrace to look at him.

"It is impossible hyung. We w-were finally in good terms and n-now this happens ? W-why ? Why does it have to be m-me ?"

"Jimin-ah... Life never goes the way we want it to. It wouldn't be worth it if we lived as we wanted. That's why it is called life. But even if everything goes wrong, it's right because it must be like that. There is no other way if you want everything to be as you wish. You just have to enjoy the good moments and endure the hardships. Don't give up already". said Namjoon hyung, patting my head. " Now let's go. Calm down a bit".

I took a deep breath. He looked at me and we made our way to the car.

When I entered the car, I saw that there was just one seat left beside Jungkook. He had puffy and swollen red eyes. I wondered why he cried if he was this happy of having a lover in his life.

Namjoon POV

The atmosphere in the back of the car was really tense, I could feel it. I was sitting with Jin hyung in the front (behind the driver) and I could hear Jimin sniff and Jungkook's tears falling. Neither of them seemed to be aware of the pain of the other. I raised Jin hyung's head which was on my shoulder to whisper something in his ear.

"Hyung... What are we going to do with those two ?"

He turned to look at them, being all depressed in the back of the car.

"I don't know. And we can't do anything, our comeback is tomorrow. They'll have to deal with each other.

"Mmh..."

"But we are lucky that they love each other, right ? It'd have been so~ much work to get them do fan service if there was hatred between them." Jin hyung whispered in my neck, giggling, and his head came back to my shoulder and he fell asleep.

Auhtor POV

At the studio

While entering the studio, the members were silent, not knowing what to say, what not to say; what to do, what not to do. So they just listened to their manager's words. Since they were a bit late compared to the schedule, he ordered beef bulgogi for them to eat in the recording studio before practice.

While everyone was busy eating and being noisy, just two people couldn't do anything but space out. Jimin and Jungkook were, unknowingly, spacing out at the same time, over the same thing. What should I do now ? They were eating their bulgogi absent-mindedly, not even tasting it since they were too deep in thoughts. They finished at the same time and stood up together. They both raised their heads and looked at each other. Gosh, why is it always like this ? During this mere second, they conveyed many emotions to one another through their eyes : sadness, guilt, confusion, helplessness and lastly forgiveness. They seemed to understand and warmly smiled at each other. They went to sat on the couch, waiting for the others to finish their meal.

Seeing that, Namjoon and Jin smiled while the other 3 were having questioning looks on their faces.

Singing session went well and they got back to the dorms.

When they arrived at the dorms, Yoongi went to shower first. When he finished, he went to sleep and Taehyung showered. Then, Jin went, after him Namjoon, then Hoseok. They all went to sleep and Jimin and Jungkook remained.

"Hyung..."

"Jungkook-ah" They said at the same time. They laughed and Jungkook gestured his hyung to talk first.

"I think we need to talk..."
