Speaking of big city I remember the lines from p.d.james book An unsuitable job for a woman, the way p.d.james describes the Cambridge : A City in which undeniably, there live and work policeman, coroners, doctors, students, college servants, flowers sellers, dons, scientists, and even, no doubt, retired majors, none of them, notices some things that's going on the city - p.d.james
Author's note:
I changed last lines in p.d.james line from an unsuitable job for a woman
