A... Storybook?

Alicia felt compelled to listen to Ryan's words and searched around her room for the book he spoke of, but was unable to find it. When Alicia was about to leave, she felt a strange emotion come over her. A feeling that this has happened before. Her conscience told her to check under the bed, and she decided to listen to it.

As she reached under the bed she felt something and pulled it towards her only to be disappointed.

" At least I found where my missing slipper was" she thought to herself before continuing looking.

" Where is it? Wait, what was I looking for? Was it this slipper?" She questioned herself.

"No, it was ..... I can't remember? Let me keep checking in case I find something else" Alicia thought.

She eventually found something right under the headboard of the bed and carefully pulled it out of the darkness and into the light. It was a book dressed in drawn designs and people in different colors. The book was thick, with about the same thickness bible or dictionary.

" How did this get here? I haven't ever seen a book like this" Alicia thought, lifting the book from of the ground and placing it on the bed.The book is filled with dust.

" This will definitely trigger my allergies." She thought to herself before quickly leaving to get a pair of gloves from her drawer and a mask to cover her face as she dusts the book allowing her to see it's content.

The book seemed to talk about a world much like earth with creatures inhabiting the planet. This planet is no.76843, or it's more popular name Rouge. There are two cycles of time: day and night which is much like earth but night last hour or two longer than day. It also talked about the different creatures can be found during the different cycles.

The book explains some of the creatures, first explaining the ones commonly found during the day before going into further detail and explaining that the day cycle is far more dangerous than the night but that doesn't mean that during the night is 100 percent safe.

"But what that does this world have to do with my world?" Alicia thought curious, and her question seemed to be answered almost immediately, like the book responded.

It explains that through dreams humans are able to traverse planet Rouge and then blank. Blank pages seemed to have filled the rest of the book and as Alicia continued flipping through the book it seems like it will only be blank pages but her eyes glanced upon a couple pages that had writing on it. She flipped back to where the writing began and looked at it only to realize that it was different that the one she first read..... it was.... her handwriting.

It seems like this book was originally a storybook before Alica began writing in it. She read her writing, and it explains her normal daily life but then explains that one day, Alicia have been having these strange dreams, dreams of a world much like earth's, like explained in the storybook.

" What is happening?" Alicia thought to herself confused.
