In this world there are two ways to use magic: Magic circles and Spells.
Magic circles are used to cast spells that are too time-consuming and energy consuming, using materials to perform the spells. This type is usually used only for casting high level magic spells.
Magic spells on the other hand are used to cast magic that don't use as much energy as magic circles. These spells can be cast quickly and is used more often.
A magic circle can only work if it is drawn on three things: wood, cloth or Tisel.
Tisel is a material that is used to help make magic circles work.
It is supposedly impossible to make a ring out of Tisel because the material is far too easy to break and when combined with other metals it gains that attribute. A dwarf blacksmith found a way to make into jewelry but no one believes him.
This ring is the one, and only he made before he decided to go back to making normal jewelry.
