The game begins.
Yoongi and Namjoon couldn't process what took place in just a matter of seconds. They wished for what has just happened was just a dream.
Yoongi commenced walking towards the hole in the floor to witness the truth for himself, but Namjoon stopped him from going any further.
Kim Namjoon
*crying* Please...please don't go any further... The floor cannot support our weight...
Min Yoongi
*angry* Shut up! What the f**k do you mean by that?! Didn't you see what just happened?! Hobi fell through that floor! He needs our help! Why the f**k are you backing away like that?!
Kim Namjoon
*sobbing* Hobi... he isn't... he's-
Min Yoongi
Oh just stop it! He's not dead! I'll save him alone if you don't help.
Yoongi continued to stroll towards the hole in the floor, slowing down when the floor creaks got louder, implying that the floor was very fragile in that region.
He gradually sauntered until he finally came close to the hole in the floor...just close enough to see what was underneath this weak wooden floorboard.
Min Yoongi
Hobi! Are you there?! Can you see me?!
Yoongi began waving his phone toward the massive hole, endeavoring to see what was underneath. His hand was trembling a little because he was panting heavily but he still made an effort to focus his flashlight on Hoseok who was stuck below.
Min Yoongi
Hobi! Where are you?! Why are you not responding to my words?!
After a lot of effort, Yoongi finally managed to catch a glimpse of what looked like a person laying amidst all the darkness.
Yoongi immediately called out Hoseok's name as he slowly shifted his flashlight a little and started to see his body lying on the floor...covered in his own blood.
Yoongi's blood ran cold and his phone slipped out of his hand and fell, followed by the noise of his phone shattering into innumerable pieces.
Yoongi felt his body giving up on him from the immense amount of shock he had just acquired. His friend, Jung Hoseok, was lying deceased beneath the floor he was standing on.
Kim Namjoon
*crying harder* I told you! I told you he- he left us! Now come back here please! We need to go save the others before they too... end up leaving us...
Min Yoongi
*sobbing* Hobi... How could this happen? In a moment he was right beside us and in the next moment he... This can't be...
Kim Namjoon
It's not the time to grieve when we have others to save... Yoongi please, for Hobi's sake, come back here... Let's go save our younger members..
Yoongi inhaled a deep breath to hush himself down as he glimpsed down at his lifeless friend before slowly turning around to saunter back in Namjoon's direction.
Kim Namjoon
*sniffles* Let's hurry up, Yoongi.
Yoongi ran into Namjoon's arms as he reached closer to him and cried a little before calming himself and bottling his emotions.
Namjoon was right. It was not the right time to lament when the lives of other members were at stake.
Namjoon grabbed Yoongi's hand and began striding towards the other corridor that lead to the living room.
Kim Namjoon
*looks around* So this is the room where this huge front door opens to...
Namjoon pointed towards the front door that they were attempting to forcefully open not too long ago. Yoongi slowly paced towards the door and grabbed the handles. He tried to pull the door open but it wouldn't budge from its place.
Min Yoongi
*confused* Namjoon... I don't see any locks or latches on the door... then why does it not open? I remember not seeing any locks from the outside as well...
Kim Namjoon
That's strange...
Their attention span soon shattered as they heard the noise of footsteps running above them. Both of them looked up to the roof to set their eyes on a huge magnificent chandelier.
Kim Namjoon
*nervous* Yoongi, did you hear those footsteps too? I think our members are upstairs.
Min Yoongi
Shit! I heard that too. I think you're right. We need to hurry up and rescue them before it gets too late!
The moment they both turned to glance at the creaky wooden staircase, a blood-curdling scream echoed throughout the haunted house...
