02: Flirting

I slowly looked up where he was. He was smiling, then my eyes widened when I him sat beside me. His friends were smirking.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"I wanna be friends with you, remember?"

"We are-"

"No, we're not." he said.

"Huh?"

"Go ahead guys." then his friends went to another vacant table.

Kuroo sat down beside me and chatted with me for about the rest of the day we were there. He left his friends for me, really?

We left the café, then a familiar voice shouted from behind. "See you at school!" I knew who shouted it, judging from the voice.

I turned my head to him. "Sure!"

Days passed by quickly. Our school really gave us a lot of assignments last week. Kuroo has been updating me about his life and such.

I changed into a simple black cropped top, a grey jacket on top of it, black denim jeans and a pair of white sneakers. Thankfully it wasn't raining these past few days. I let my long wavy hair down.

As I was walking down the street towards my school, someone tapped my shoulder from behind. I was about to turn when that person covered my eyes.

"Hi. I missed you." That was familiar.

"Stop it." I demanded. He let go of his touch on my eyes and kissed my temple.

I rolled my eyes. Oh, this flirt! We went to wherever he wanted to hang-out. I was busy looking around the buildings when he suddenly held my hands and intertwined it together.

"K-Kuroo, what are you doing?" I asked as I looked down on our intertwined hands.

He squished my hand. "Your hands are soft, Y/N." He held it up nd kissed it.

I feel like my whole face is red because of what he did. When he saw my reaction he chuckled.

"Stop laughing at me!" I said and pouted, looking away.

"You're so cute!" then he squished my cheek. I immediately moved his hand away from my cheek.

"You flirt." I whispered, but was enough to let him hear what I said.

He chuckled. "Really?" he paused. "I wasn't really like this when I met you though."

I rolled my eyes, you look like a playboy! but cute...

We sat down on a bench near the lake. It looks really overgrown and also very ancient looking. It looks pretty! Plus, the entrance to this overgrown lake, was filled with vines and flowers.

I caught a glimpse of Kuroo looking intensely at me. I looked at him. "What?"

"You look beautiful as always." he stared at me while having a smile on his face.

I blushed again. Damn, this guy! "You even look more beautiful because you're blushing. And I'm also happy because the reason why you're blushing is because of me." he said.

I'm imagining my face right now, as a blushing girl. "Y-You're lying. Shut u-up." I said and looked away.

After we went there, I went back to my apartment, with Kuroo.

"Thanks for today, Kuroo." I said and smiled.

"Always welcome." he said. My eyes widened when he leaned closer to me and kissed my cheek.

"Call me later, 'kay?" he said. I nodded, and looked at him. Seconds later, he looked at me and waved goodbye. I waved and viewed his back disappearing in a distance.

Every night he always calls me to make sure I was fine and all that. My friend, Brenna, was saying that he might be courting me already and I just didn't knew. I mean, if a guy is courting, the girl needs to know, right? I don't know, he might be flirting with me.

Next week will be our first semester break. Finaaaaaaally!!!!!!

As usual, days went by and Kuroo was still flirting 24/7 with me.

"Hi," He greeted as I picked up the call.

"Missed me already?" I asked playfully.

"Yes. So much." I can imagine him pouting at me as he said those three words.

I chuckled. "I missed you too. When's the hang-out session?" I asked. The passing days were just me and Kuroo hanging out after school. He'll always pick me up after class.

"Hmm, tonight? Wanna go? I'll pick you up as usual. Wear something elegant and formal, okay?" he said. Something elegant?

"Formal? Sure. See you." I said and we continued to chat until I said I'll take a shower. He even wanted me to continue to talk to him while I was showering. Pervert!

I took a shower and changed into a simple elegant black dress paired with black strappy heels. My hair was wavy and long so I didn't do anything to it.

I also wore pearl earrings and I brought my black chain sling bag. I waited for 10 minutes and he was there at ghe front of my apartment.

He looks handsome in a black turtle neck top, a brown long blazer, black slacks and black shoes. Damn!

"Woah," We said at the exact time I looked at him head-to-toe.

We stared at each other for more seconds and he said to get in the car. He opened the shotgun door for me and he drove to a fancy restaurant. It's a date? Oooh.

When we entered the restaurant, he already reserved a two seater table for us. I sat down as he pulled the chair for me, then he sat down on his seat in front of me.

The waiter came to us, gave us a menu and he took our order. While we were waiting, I was just looking around the place he picked out.

"Like it?" he said as he stared at me intensely again. He does this everytime!

I nodded. "Yeah," I responded shortly.

My eyes widened when he took my hand and kissed the top of it. I smiled. Our friendship seems to be going somewhere, huh.

Before the food arrive, we talked and talked for the rest of the minutes passing by. He told me about his volleyball club friends, his family, his past relationships, and many more.

"Hey, uhm, we've been friends for 5 months now." he paused like he was trying to find the words he needs to say. "This is the first time I felt this kind of feeling for someone, and it was for you." my eyes widened. He likes m-me?

"I promise to take care of you, to love you, and to give you all the love and happiness you deserve, Y/N. Everytime we're together, I just fell and fell more deeply inlove with you. I hope we're on the same page of this love story. I like you, so much, Y/N." his hazel eyes were twinkling as he stared lovingly at me.

My eyes widened again when he inserted a ring on my finger. I stared at him putting the ring in. When he finished and kissed it, I took a look at the ring. The ring has a crown with a small pearl at the top of the crown. It's so cute.

"Kuroo..." I smiled and he returned it back. He leaned closer to me and kissed the tip of my nose, next my forehead and stopped when his lips were inches away from my lips.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Y/N?" he asked as he held my cheek.

I nodded. "Ofcourse." when he heard the words, he kissed me, on. the. lips. His lips were soft.

"Thank you. I love you, okay?" I nodded as the waiter came and delivered the food we ordered at our table.
