who is he

it's been years after that incident but even today it give me chills by just thinking about it,

let's first introduce myself, i am ed (short for Edward).The story iam about to tell is about my days in college and how I got to experience an abnormal activity.

in my college days I used to live in rent with my classmate . My first year was going well and soon I was going to be a second year. so after the final exam my friends decide to celebrate it ,so we went to a restaurant and had blast . I think it was around midnight we decided to stop as some of were already drunk and some of us were tired . After saying goodbye, i decided to take a walk so I told my roommate to go ahead. After everyone was gone ,i walk along side the road . The sky was filled with bright stars and a moon which was shining brightly as It was a full moon night. i walk and enjoy the summer night,after some time I reach home. i went directly to bed as I was tired and sleepy.After laying down for few minutes i don't know when I close my eyes. i was sleeping soundly when I started to feel cold and the bed was uncomfortable for some reason like i was sleeping on the ground.I open eyes to look for the blanket , it's then I noticed that I was in the middle of the road ,at first I thought it might be a dream but unfortunately it wasn't. My heart was beating loudly,when I saw a man standing near a tree which was like 10 feet away from me . i got up hurly and started to run towards home . i could heard my heart beating louder by each minute , then suddenly i trip over a rock. i fall down on the ground and then I heard a creepy laugh sound coming from behind me . i could tell that if I don't get up know that it will be my last day. i rashly got up and again started to run . i kept on running but the road seem to no end but I don't lose my hope and kept on running. after some time I saw the rent as i was getting near,as i was getting nearer to home creepy laughing sound also started to become lower. i hurly open the door and was sitting by the door inside ,taking heavily breath and was sweating like i just got out of the bathroom. when I reach my senses and was calm down i look through the peep hole ,to check whether it was still following me . i couldn't see anything,so i let out a sigh of relief. then my roommate got out of his room and ask me why was i sitting near the entrance.so, then i started to tell him about what happens to me.after hearing my story, my roommate said to me that i don't came back before, after hearing that my heart again started to bear loudly. then suddenly i heard a knock on the door,i look at my roommate and said, "jack, who could it be ?". jack look at me confuse and shake his head (left to right)saying that he even don't know , so we decided to not answer it after knocking for some time , the sound stop . but suddenly my phone began to ring ..... i pick it up and ask who it was, on the other side of the phone ,the person reply , "ed open the door it's me jack ". my body froze upon hearing it, as it make no sense as jack was standing infront of me , but after seeing back i started to get doubt if the person standing infront of me is jack or not wheather the person on the phone is telling the truth or not but the most important was i could i escape from it ,so i slowly walk towards my room, then jack ( near me) ask why i am going to my room and who was on the phone.i could not bring up the courage to tell as my mouth was dry and my whole body was beginning to shake ,so i hurly run towards my room and close it from inside.jack was knocking from outside asking me what has happen,while the person on the kept asking who was i with?why was i am not opening the door . Hearing both of them made me feel so scared that i jump into my bed and cover myself with blanket and i threw the phone . After some time the noise stop and i fell asleep. i woke in the morning, i saw my phone in two pieces from which. i can tell yesterday was no a dream. i open my room's door and went to kitchen for a drink. then i Heard someone calling my name from behind,i froze thinking that yesterday was repeating and i slowly turn my head towards the voice . there i saw will , i was shock as well as happy to see him and let out a sigh of relief. Then to my surprise will ask me why was i not answering my phone yesterday and everyone was waiting for me at the restaurant. i was shock then i told will that i attend the party yesterday and everything after that , but to my surprise will ask me who was jack? . i felt goosebumps,and ask ,"do you really not know jack?my roommate?.will shockingly said to me that he was my roommate from the first year. i loss my balance and fell down , i couldn't believe it as to knowledge i remember everything that jack was my roommate , and sometime i lost my consciousness. when i woke up ,i was in a medical bed and will was sitting beside me . slowly and slowly i started to remember everything that jack never existed and i had been imagining him as i was writting a horror story last night . but still i can't understand that who was jack? as in my life or in my story he never appears..

Even today I wonder who he was not because he appears before me once but he came infront of again in my last semester . I looked at him and ask as my body was shaking in fear ,"..j.j..just ..who are you?,after hearing my question,he answer with creepy smile on his face that i know him .i don't why but after that day i could sense as if someone is watching me or is presence near me . I had move from many places but still the feeling of someone presence don't stop.And one day as i was walking back home, someone tap on my shoulder as i turn back to see who it was ... i scream and fell on the after seeing the person's face . i couldn't believe myself it was .....
