An hour later, The doctor came out and said that the girl could get pneumonia if she stayed in the rain any longer. But she is out of danger now...but still not stable.He said The girl had a high fever because of staying out unconscious in the rain for two or three hours. Nakamura wanted to talk with the girl,so the doctor said he can see her but as she was not awake yet he can’t talk to her right now.Seeing Nakamura uncomfortable with his words, The doctor then assured Nakamura and said that the girl might wake up at any time.Riyano Nakamura was okay with it, he only wanted to see her for a bit. When he went in, the little girl was already awake and was looking around with confusion in her eyes. As soon as she saw Nakamura, she looked scared and asked who was he. Nakamura realized the girl was scared and stuttering,So he gently talked with the girl slowly calming her down a little bit. But he somehow understood that she wasn’t in the state to talk about what actually happened with her yet. Though he wanted to ask her about her family, he decided to ask it later.The week went by, Nakamura once asked the girl about her,her name, her age and finally when he asked her about her family, suddenly the girl started to tremble with fear and began to cry......,Which made Nakamura to stop asking her about her family. But it was more or less clear to him that whatever it was about her family, it had something to do with the body full of small-big and deep slight scars, which were old as well as new.....
At the end of the week the girl got discharged from the hospital and went to the Riyano Villa. She started to live in the Riyano villa with Nakamura who lived with only some maids and servants.
A year went by, since the little girl started to live with Nakamura,she also started to go to school. She grew quite close to Nakamura and was very comfortable with him.So, she wasn’t afraid of him anymore and was able to tell her about her family. After hearing what happened, Nakamura looked crazily mad and wanted to call the police. But seeing Nakamura like that,The little girl got scared so he had to restrain himself from doing so, even though he didn’t know why she was that scared of calling the police. He asked the girl if she wanted to go back to her family which was one of the most prestigious and rich family in Japan like the Riyano family, 'the Ichizo family'. However, the girl answered the question with a silence while trembling slightly. Nakamura understood that the answer was 'No'.
The girl used to call Nakamura 'Riyano-san'. At that time he asked the girl gently if she would call him Grandfather....After hearing what Nakamura said, she looked at him with a very surprised expression in her eyes. But, at the mean time, she was really very happy. She nodded yes with her eyes sparkling and filled with tears. She didn’t experience that much of happiness in her life Until then. So, Nakamura adopted her as his granddaughter and gave her a new name. He didn’t marry in his life, so, there wasn’t anyone in his family who could inherit his business. He was happy that the little girl will inherit his property and business in the future.
