Getting rid of all her clothes

Naomi sat on her bed and started thinking of ways to dispose of her clothes without raising suspicions. First she thought of accidentally burning down the closet, but later she felt that it might be risky and that it would be hard to explain how the closet caught fire. And she also had to make sure that her adoptive mother Winona would not be able to interfere with her going shopping to buy new clothes. She remembered that Winona goes out with her friends every second Saturday of the month to play mahjong, then she thought the best way to get rid of her clothes would be by using someone else as a scapegoat. She then remembered that there was a maid who loved such revealing clothes with the Smith's. She decided to use her for her advantage. She called her to her room with a glass of coffee. When the maid came to the room Naomi had deliberately kept her closet open to bait her. She knew that the maid would get attracted to the open closet. The maid was known as Silvi. Noami had folded the edge of the carpet near the closet so that anyone who walked to the closet would get their feet stuck to it and lose their balance. Silvi was walking towards the closet with the cup of coffee in her hand, her feet got stuck to the carpet edge and she fell. The cup of coffee spilled all over Naomi's closet staining all her clothes. Just then Naomi walked out of her bathroom and started shouting at Silvi for spoiling all her clothes. And started crying out loud to make his adoptive father James rush up to her room listening to all the commotion. He saw all the mess and instantly fired Silvi for spoiling the clothes from the closet. James decided to end the farce by giving 10 thousand dollars to Naomi to buy clothes for herself. He was about to call Winona to go shopping with Naomi, at that time Naomi instantly said that she knows the shop from where Winona gets all those pretty clothes for her. This was to make James believe that Naomi finds those clothes attractive and that she would continue to buy such clothes. James hummed at her response and left.

Naomi got ready and left for the mall and started looking through different stores to buy herself suitable clothes. She now had ten thousand thousand dollars extra with her for buying clothes. Naomi purchased a few sets of daily wear, a few sets of party wear, few formal wears and a few casuals wear . She even purchased two pairs of footwear. She still had a few hundred dollars left. She decided to buy a few stationeries that she could use for jewelry designing. After completing all her shopping she took a cab to go back home.

After she got back she went straight to her room and started to make jewelry designs under her last life’s pen name. She submitted two of her designs and put off her computer. She then sat on her bed and started thinking about how she should contact her biological parents to get back to them. When she remembered Lilian’s words before her death about her parents trying to find her for 24 years she instantly felt a dull pain in her chest. Naomi then sat down to do her homework and then she started going through her books of the current grade one by one.She had an exact three months before she could leave the Smith’s. She skimmed through her books for the current grade then went on to the next grade books. She planned to skip the remaining six grades of highschool. She then started making notes of her plans for the future. But she first had to get rid of her engagement with that cheating bastard of a fiance. As Lillian had said that she was dating Richard since the age of ten then it would mostly be from the time they met at Lillian’s birthday. Naomi decided to push Richard towards Lillian before the timeline and to make their relationship known to the public so as to force the Davidsons to cancel her engagement with them. She thought that the best opportunity would be by trying to find a way to let Lillian approach Richard. She then thought of a plan, she decided to ask Richard out for dinner on her birthday and mention it while having a meal with the family. She knew well that Lillian would not lose this opportunity to tag along. Naomi just had to dress up in as simple clothes as possible so as to not stand out while she was sure that Lillian would put in all her efforts in dressing up to catch Richard's attention. And to make her plans successful she would also occasionally bully Lillian in front of Richard so that he starts feeling pity towards Lillian and finds Naomi to be an eyesore. After thinking through her entire plan Naomi decided to rest for the day.

At seven she got up from her bed and went downstairs for dinner. Everyone was already seated at their seats ready for dinner. She took her food and quietly started having her meal. Lillian started speaking to her in her fake concerned voice “Sister I heard from dad that all your clothes got stained by Silvi, have you purchased new clothes for yourself??”. Naomi just hummed as a response and continued eating. Winona said “Naomi did you get all the clothes as usual?? If not, I can buy you more” Naomi said “Mom tomorrow is my birthday, and I remember dad saying that currently the family is not doing well and that we are having financial problems and hence you can’t celebrate my birthday. If you want to buy me more clothes then does that mean that our financial problems are already solved??? If yes then can we hold my birthday banquet instead of buying me more clothes?” Winona choked at her words and James instantly said to Winona in a stern voice “Don’t you remember how hard it is for our family to make us meet ends, you still want to spend the little money left for shopping?” After that the rest of the dinner time went by peacefully. After dinner Naomi returned to her room and started preparing her bath. After having a bath Naomi looked through her bank account which had only a hundred dollars left and then went straight to bed.
